I have had the same carry-on travel bag for 20 years. I finally accepted that I need a NEW one, as the bag I have has only ONE small interior zip pocket, and the rest of the bag is open - therefore creating a muddled mess of contents! I was hesitant to order this bag due to its price, but the many pockets that it has won me over! The front exterior three pockets (which are not secured by a zipper) are PERFECT for tissues and lip balm in one, individual wet wipes in the second, and mints/gum in the third. These are not pockets with which I am concerned about security, so these open drop in pickets for the items that I mentioned works perfectly for me. The front smaller upper exterior zipped pocket will secure my cell phone perfectly, and also keep it handy. The exterior has one GIANT exterior zip pocket - perfect for papers or you can unzip the lower zipper and use it to secure over your rolling carry on. Interior pockets are plentiful and perfect! A nice padded section for my iPad, nice interior slip in pockets for my glasses, my ID, passport, cell phone charger and cord, pens, and my travel documents. And even a zip inside pocket “to boot”! The generous open interior is perfect for my headphone case, a book, a pad of paper, and a makeup bag. The entire interior zips shut, so I am confident that the items inside will be secure. I was hoping to replace my 35 year old Hartmann bag and this one seemed to fit the description. This one has a trolley sleeve to slip over my luggage, which I needed. The drink pocket needed to be about 1/2" larger to accommodate a water bottle, and the overall width needed 2" additional for my computer (in it's own protective sleeve.) That being said, they are on the right track and this would be perfect for a commuter, but for me it needed to be a tad larger. ... show more

I originally bought this for my mom - it's just her style with all the compartments and size - but when it arrived I loved it so much I kept it! (I bought her another one!) It is the perfect travel bag for so many reasons.. has the ability to unzip so it slides on suitcase handle, so many compartments for your laptop and kindle and pens and phones and water bottles. It holds so much stuff but is so comfortable and flexible it feels already broken in like your favorite bag. The material is quality and durable too - waterproof I think even. Easy to clean off. This bag is just what I was looking for. The bag fits nicely over the telescoping handle of my roller bag, sits perfectly on the luggage and doesn't shift around while walking and rolling my suitcase. There are two outside pockets that can hold my water bottle and make the bottle easy to grab when needed. I found that the bag fit great under the seat on the airplane, still leaving room for my feet or another small item. I like to put my smaller purse inside this bag when I board and then I can pull it out once I sit down. This is the adjustable-strap crossbody travel bag I have been looking for. It’s just the right size to take on a plane. I fit a tablet, Beats, a book, mints, etc, plus I can fit my medium-sized purse inside—which counts as a personal item with a carry-on suitcase.
