While I agree with some of the reviews about questioning how well the compression part of these bags actually work and if it’s truly worth paying more than the regular packing cubes the cubes themselves are fantastic. It doesn’t compress like a vacuum bag but rather smushes everything down which is still slightly helpful. We just went on a cruise and it was nice to have everything in its own compartment such as socks and underwear, swimsuits, nice dinner clothes, casual daytime clothes, medications, and toiletries. My cubes were Seafoam green and my husband’s were black. We’ve only used them for one trip so I’m not sure how durable they are but they did great for getting in and out of them every day for this trip. The variety of sizes were great and it’s nice to have the option whether to smush and compress the cubes or leave the second zipper undone for more room. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and plan on using them for every trip for now on.

The quality of these bags, meaning that the construction, materials both fabric and zipper, and seam strength, seem very good. They look nice and they are very roomy with sizes being good for a variety of clothing. In that way they are excellent. But since we're paying for the compression as well this was an issue for me. What didn't work for me was the compression itself. Being an over-packer, yes I do admit that, I thought this would work somewhat like the bags that can reduce the air and flatten out. This isn't exactly the case. What happens when the cube is filled to its maximum and then compressed with the zipper, is that the center of the cube increases in size so that it can accommodate the lack of size around the bag's perimeter. In other words the contents are pushed to the center. While this might make for more square inches in the suitcase to add these bags the higher center makes for other problems. I packed, compressed the bags and went to close the suitcase and it was just not happening very easily, if at all. I decided to try another way thinking that the packing cubes really didn't seem smaller but seemed more "stuffed" after compression. Like I said the central area had increased in size. I decided to open the compression zippers and see what would happen. Although I did need to make some re-arrangements due to the larger overall squared size of the packing cube, the central area of the cube decreased in size quite a bit. So much so that the suitcase was actually easy to close. So although I do think that these are well made of good quality materials and are great for organizing the stuff in one's suitcase the compression was a disappointment for me. I think that possibly the usefulness of compression for an over-packer like myself is not going to make a difference but since the bags are of good quality they may work for someone who is more conservative with their packing. :-)

I bought these for my recent 10 day vacation overseas as I wanted to maximize what I could bring in my carry on! We didn’t want to pay extra for checked bags. I didn’t use all of them maybe 5/6 to hold all my things and they were perfect! They held my bigger volume items well (coats, wool socks, scarfs) since I went to a colder location. It was great to have them to organize my toiletries too as I kept the smaller one in our bathroom! They held up well, pretty durable, and they clean well (but nothing stained). It’s a pretty decent value and I’d debate getting some more in different colors for my traveling friends.

These packing cubes are a worthwhile upgrade from the lighter, non-compression, budget-friendly alternatives. Although heavier, they look fantastic and are built to last. I purchased the Square Mesh in 06-Black. The color is dark enough to conceal contents from others, yet the mesh allows you to easily identify what’s inside. Pros: Shapes clothing into uniform squares, maximizing space and order. Lets you use only the cubes you need, making packing, unpacking, and drawer organization a breeze. Offers an easy way to separate clean clothes from dirty ones during your trip. If you're on the fence due to weight, don't be—once you experience the organizational benefits, that concern disappears. These cubes are a game-changer for travel!

I wish I had discovered packing cubes years ago. These are a total lifesaver for organizing my suitcase. I recently used them on a two-week trip to Europe, and they kept everything neat and easy to find. No more digging through piles of clothes to find a single shirt. The different sizes are perfect: I used the largest for jeans and sweaters, medium for tops, and the smallest for underwear and socks. They work fine, but the compression zipper has a habit of catching the fabric in its grasp, and it’s almost impossible to get it loose. If it weren’t for that, I’d give it a five. But it’s annoying enough that I’m docking it two stars.
