We rent a car, have 3 kids in carseats/boosters and travel with a double stroller, so space saving is a necessity for us! These bags came with various sizes and all of them are very useful. I used them to organize different kinds of clothes, socks, etc. My luggage looked very neat and it’s much easier to find things. They are sturdy even you put a lot of things inside and then zip it. I think they are different than the vacuum bags so if you are looking for the effects that vacuum bags offer, you may not like this product. These are actually awesome. I managed to pack a carry on for a two-week trip that also included mask, fins, snorkel, pack towels and portable hiking stick. I was able to pack 25% more clothing in these compression cubes. Plus, all my stuff was organized when I got to my destination - one pack for tops, one for bottoms, one for undies and bathing suits. If you overstuff you will bust a zipper, so just don’t do that. Don’t consider vacuum sealed cubes - if TSA wants to examine, you’ll never get that stuff back in (trust me here). ... show more

It does not save as much space as I thought, I have the same footprint in my bag but is really good at organizing. The large bag I fit 4 pairs of pants and a shirt with plenty of space left over, the next step down I have 8 t-shirts and that's about the limit, next size down I have 10 pairs of socks and can fit a few more in the smallest bag I have boxers in and I have about 9 pairs and can fit some more. I wear xl and tall shirts, size 38pants and an 11 in socks if that helps ... show more

I purchased the compression packing cubes and a non compression set. I personally like the compression packing cubes slightly better. I tend to be a person who over packs for trips. Therefore, the compression feature works well for me. It also helped me stay organized and made repacking easier. Definitely do not over stuff the cubes. You will be able to tell when you go to zip it up if it is overstuffed. One down fall to the compression cubes vs the non compression set I have is that you cannot see what is in the compression cubes. My non compression set has mesh, which allowed me to view the items without having to open all the cubes to find that article of clothing I was interested in. ... show more

These were alright. I bought them for a two week vacation around Italy, when I needed more room in my bags. It was nice to have different bags to sort things like socks, undergarments, shirts, etc. but they did take up a lot of space instead of saving space.
