    • Very high quality; no wear and tear
No complaints, everything is as described and is very good quality. The value of the purchase is actually incredible in this sense. The most common problem with a lot of other paddles that I have bought in the past is that they have had poorly finished handles with splintery areas. That is not a concern with this set. The other concern that you see a lot is the rubber lifting from the paddle. Again, these seem well made and I've played with them past the point that this problem starts to present itself with inferior sets. But here, so far so good. If any problem develops anytime soon, I'll make sure to update the review. Given all of the above, I don't think I'll need to buy new paddles anytime soon as the materials seem like they wear very well. We've already played a fair amount of games with them and there's no sign of any material damage. There's also a strong warranty offered, so if I for whatever reason need to use that, I'll make sure to update this review and talk about that process. I don't claim to be an expert, so I can't speak for very high level players. But in terms of beginners or intermediate players, I think that this is an excellent set for a very competitive price, and would highly recommend it. ... show more

For our purposes as at-home, totally for-fun, super-beginner back yard players, these are just fine. The quality isn't amazing, but the price is. We've had these since April and have seen a fair amount of separate of the rubber paddle layers, but no meaningful peeling, aside from the edging. A few cosmetic chips in the wood handles, but no splinters or interference with play. Handles themselves are actually quite attractive. They do the job, they're nice to look at and comfortable to use. And when the wear-and-tear necessitates replacement, it's quick, easy and super-reasonably priced. ... show more

    • The paddle sticks to the cover every time you close case
Would give it 5 stars if you didn't have to peel the paddle off of the case every time you go to play. The case is very useful though keeps it all in one place, I bought this for my office ping pong table. Cut a vinyl decal out and slapped it on the cover of the case. Everyone loves it!

    • Sticky paddles
Just opened up the package, peeled off the plastic & when we tried to put the paddles back in the carrying case the paddles stick together. When we peel the paddles apart it lifts the foam padding a little. Hopefully after a while it won’t do that. Will wait & see if worth it.

Good value. Nice starter kit to use for a fun family game of ping pong. It comes nicely packaged. The paddles do have a sticky coating on them once you remove the plastics covers. Overall, good value and does the job.

The layers were separating and flapping within the first day of using this paddles. Would not recommend.
