Obsessed with this mini crib!! Using for my second child who is now 3 months and am so happy with it. It barely takes up more room than a bassinet. It's nice to look at. Can wheel it around our small bedroom as needed. It fits through doorways! My baby has so much space to grow. With my first child a bassinet ended up feeling like a waste of money as he was too big for it by 3 months old then I was forced to move him out of my bedroom into crib in his room before I was truly ready. This mini crib allows for extended stay in my bedroom before I wheel it into his room. I imagine he could sleep in this crib for at least a year maybe longer. It's sturdy and feels good quality. The "mattress" it came with was awful though. So flimsy it could barely hold a sheet without it folding in on itself. I paired it with a newton mini crib mattress instead. For anyone debating this over a bassinet, get the mini crib!

Simple and easy to put together. I love the color. The design makes it easy to fold and put away until baby arrives. The wood quality is smooth and durable. The mattress is too thin.

I was terrified to order this crib (or any crib really) because of the few bad reviews saying how hard it was to put together or something about the smell or the poorly placed stickers. This crib showed up FAST and was packaged very well, with no damage. My husband and I got out our handy-dandy screwdriver, laid out all of the pieces, and went through the instructions step by step and it was so EASY to put together. There are both words and diagrams on the instructions, and with just a small bit of common sense, this crib was easier to put together than any other flat pack type of furniture I have ever purchased. It is perfectly small, darn cute, feels very sturdy even with the wheels attached, and easily fits through our doorways. We could have fit a full-sized crib in our apartment, but love the size of this crib and are thrilled about how portable it will be around our apartment for when I want to work in the kitchen and have the baby napping in sight in the living room and for how easy it will be to move/store. We are so excited for our new baby to get to try it out! We did order a mattress to go with the crib because the included mattress is a thin pad (but the included mattresses with most, if not all cribs are, so get over it and order a nice one!). The great thing is, we can use the included 1 inch pad for other things or just leave it below the 3 inch mattress we bought. About the stickers - we decided to leave on the ones on the mattress support board because they are important and no one ever sees them. There were two stickers that are visible that talk about suffocation risk (important!), but I just tested taking one of them off with a Lysol wet wipe and the most handy tool of them all...my fingernail. I didn't want to scratch the paint, but by moistening the sticker with the wipe ahead of time, it came off much more easily, and then I would re-wet the sticky residue and use my fingers to rub over it until it dried so the sticky stuff started pilling up and coming off. It took some time, but it wasn't hard and didn't damage the crib at all.

The media could not be loaded. The mini crib is very well made and feels heavy-duty and sturdy. It has a lovely, modern, clean look and looks beautiful in the nursery. However, the seller does not mention that because of the folding rail design, a crib skirt cannot go down on all four sides. The wood at the folding rails is tight, so the skirt will not drop fully there. I had to fold the skirt on two ends instead. It still looks nice, but this is important to know if you plan to use a crib skirt.

UPDATE: Used this until our little guy was about 8 months old in a variety of applications. We were moving so I'll say the collapsible crib idea was amazing for showings on our house, quickly goes away and then back together again. After the move we used it in our camper which became our home for 6 weeks in between houses. The best part of this thing is the portability. That said the size will eventually become an issue unlike a normal crib because babies get big quickly. There are 2 mattress heights, the lower is what is pictured, the higher is about bassinet height only useful for a couple months. As our little guy got bigger and more mobile it was harder for him to "fit" in the crib, especially when he'd get himself sideways. We'd end up with a leg stuck in the rails every so often which I solved by making a custom bumper. But these are issues you'll run into more with the mini cribs than a traditional sized crib. That being said it was a great option for us and I would do it over again. The crib stood up to all of the moving and we now use it in the same capacity as a pack n play. ---------------------------------------------- This is our 3rd child and 3rd crib, opted for a mini this time to fit in our master bedroom and liked the idea that this was collapsible so we could put it away or travel with it if we really wanted to. I originally searched for the previous model, the Babyletto Grayson, as it had come in the grey color we wanted but lo and behold it was discontinued everywhere. Apparently this is the "new" version and the dimensions have been shortened a tad? It fits a standard pack n play mattress which is good for sheets and finding accessories that are otherwise impossible or expensive to source. The grey color is great and quality seems to be par for most cribs out there. It is a coated finish so if you chip the exterior it would be noticeable but this is pretty common as far as baby cribs go, and it's not like we spent a fortune on it so I'm ok with that. Of note- it comes with a mattress, if you could call it that. It's a 1" pad as the description reads, so it's no more substantial than an actual pack n play and in my opinion not great for really intending on using it for a permanent bedspace. But you can find larger 3" mattresses anywhere from $25 and up that would work better. Overall, not a deal breaker and cheaper than any of the alternatives you find out there. Had initially compared it with the Bloom Alma Mini and Alma Papa, the prices of those were discouraging as well as their lack of standard sizing (ie. sheets, bedding, etc) and I didn't like the collapsing bracket mounting on the front portion of the crib, I liked that the Origami hardware is mounted on the shorter sides so it's a prettier view from the front. Assembly- hubbs is a contractor so he builds things regularly, this was simple to assemble but did end up taking him about an hour, for what that's worth. So far very happy with the purchase as compared to our other cribs in the past. We have had the Babyletto Modo for 3 years and it's still going strong, as I'm sure this one will be. We'll see how it fares when the wee one is here but I don't anticipate any issues.
