The only Pack-n-Play brand I've purchased time and time again is Graco. With that as my baseline, this BabyTrend 'Nursery Center' left a few things to be desired. I was surprised by how cheap it felt. It's about the same size as the 'smallest' most basic Graco pack-n-play but not as sturdy. The mat folds in five sections as opposed to 3 with other play yards. It sets up the same - lock the rails, then push down the center. The bottom support on each long side are wobbly, but I imagine they are just there for extra support when a child is inside. The brakes on the wheels are completely pointless - it was just as easy to move the play yard when they were on as when they were off. The side fabric feels like a cheap, crinkly disposable bag type of thing, not an actual knitted canvas type fabric. When the mattress is at the bottom of the play yard, it can be secured with velcro which goes into slits and wrap around underneath the play yard. If you don't do that and push the mat all the way to one side, there is a 1" gap on the other. I think the mat should be a tad bigger so that it literally hits all sides as a crib mattress is required to in a crib. Otherwise it's a safety concern. With the bassinet insert, the clips for the sides were SO hard to get on. Definitely not a 'slide' on, I had to pry them open to get them to start sliding on and they often pinched my fingers while doing so. There is SO much gaping fabric which also feels like a hazard to me. I know babies are only supposed to be very small and non-sitting/rolling while in the bassinet insert, but it still worries me. The bassinet sits lower than the other play yards I've had. The poles on the inside are stuck to the overall bassinet so that's nice they already come preset. The mobile came right out of the clip when I tried to take it back off. It slid back in, but not something I'd want to come apart so easily around babies. It also seemed like it wasn't snapping on all the way as it kept leaning off the side. It's a flexible noodle type of mobile. Overall, I'll stick with Graco as my go-to but this will do if you need a play yard and it's the only one available. ... show more

This was a nice inexpensive pack 'n play that I put on my baby registry. However, a board in the mat broke before my baby turned one. My husband was packing it away and the board snapped.
