It definitely does its job! I don’t see why everyone expects this to be so thick that a child won’t get hurt. It literally shows pictures of it?? Anyway, I got what I expected because I read the description and looked at the pics and I’m very happy with it. My entire house has no carpet so my daughter needed something grippy to help her crawl, and this was it. It’s also doubles as our floor play mat. No complaints!

I really like this mat because it goes with my decor/theme for my son’s room. However, the description says it is thick and that isn’t the case. It’s thicker than some, but still not THICK. I had to layer on top of blankets to give some padding. When my son started learning to crawl, he tumbled over and hit his head on the floor. He was fine, but that’s the moment I began to put blankets underneath.

I liked the fabric and craftsmanship of the product. I had hoped it would have been thicker. I bought it to lay on my hardwood floor so my granddaughter could play on it and not get hurt if she fell over. I had to lay other blankets under it though to soften and falls. A good product. Not as thick as I had hoped but my expectations may have been too high.

Although this product will sue, I thought the material would be vinyl or something easy to clean. Instead it’s not. It’s a cloth material. And I just am not sure how sanitary it’ll be with baby slobbering and potentially spitting up on it? I’m not saying it’s a bad product, just not what I thought it was going to be at all

We have hardwood floors in our living room. I purchased this mat so my son can play on the floor. He is five months old and learning to roll and sit. After I received the mat, I placed it in the washer and dryer, hoping it would fluff up a little bit. It did not help at all. Matt is still very thin and does not provide much padding between the hardwood floor and my little sprout. Other than it being very thin I am happy with the mat.

I got the 71X59 size mat, and the tag with the packaging said 71X59 so I know I wasn't sent the wrong size. Unfortunately it did not come true to size, and doesn't fill my play yard like other buyers have shown theirs do in pictures. Mine is an inch short on all sides if I put the blanket in the middle, leaving an inch gap unpadded on all the sides of the play yard floor. I measured the yard and it's a true 71X59, but the blanket is measuring at more of a 69 X 57. I love it otherwise, mine came with padding unlike some of the complaints, just wish it fit true to size. Also to note, the little non-slip dots on the back will come off in the wash and leave themselves all over the washer and dryer, so be prepared for that.
