We all love this ball but you have to keep starting it. If it stayed on until you turned it off it would be loads more fun. I know there are balls out there that do stay on but with this ball the littles have learned how to make it go and still love it.

The media could not be loaded. I have a lab. She has too much energy. She is very good at destroying dog toys. Then I rememberd this toy from my kids childhood. I literly put just a description into Amazon search and it poped up. I only wish I could turn the music part off. It took her a few mins to figure it out. But she now plays with it on her own and because it moves so much she can't figure out how to grab it and chew it to smitherizines . Bonus! ... show more

This is a cool toy, my son loves the sounds and the way it moved. BUT, it is very rough, it can really hurt your child if it hits them. This is definitely a toy you have to be watching if being played with.

    • Poorly designed
Enjoyed one of these as a kid, and wanted to get 1 for my son. This came in a cardboard box without any sorta plastic, and was quite dirty. Not exactly a great start having to scrub a brand new baby toy. Threw some batteries in, and that's when things got worse. First are the 2 settings. A "try me", and then an on. Quite frankly, I spent a good bit of time trying to figure out what the difference between the 2 were to the point that I turned to the manual to see what is said. Apparently 1 is for 5 seconds of run time, and the other is for 10. Even with that knowledge, there wasn't an apparent difference. The other problem being that this means there is no real "on" function. You have to hit the ball every few seconds to activate it or it shuts off. So no way to let it run away and have the baby crawl after it. Finally the biggest issue which is why we never use it is the volume. It's loud. And not like annoyed parent and every toy is loud. Like it should come with one of those "exposure for over 30 minutes can cause permanent hearing damage" disclaimers loud. For that reason alone, we don't ever bring it out for him to play with, and I can't recommend it to any parent unless you have a deaf child and need something with physical stimulation. ... show more
