This is a great piece to diy from! I stained the ring and all the little balls that came with it to match accordingly! Be prepared to learn to tie loops/knots on your own, the instructions were zero help! I’d understand a new language faster than I’d understand the instructions! Definitely takes a little brain work, but if you’re determined to not spend $160 on a similar mobile, you’ll do it! The tying took me about 30 minutes tbh!

Not exactly easy to make. The strings are far too long and it wasn’t quite the beautiful mobile I had wanted. It’s just fine but not spectacular. You are probably better off just buying the materials and making your own.

I haven’t been this frustrated with a craft project in a long time. This product can’t be worth more than five dollars. The instructions are a joke, and I have spent all night wishing I had just bought a wooden embroidery ring and used some yarn/string I already own. Just after spending an hour trying to balance the wooden ring to be level on all four pieces of string, I finally added my crochet pieces. I placed it on the mobile arm I’m using, and I took it on and off maybe three times while working on the project. When I took it off to finalize the placing of all the crochet pieces, the ring holding all the string together BROKE. Just from me taking it off the hook a few times. This mobile could not withstand an older baby hitting/pulling at it like my first baby did with his mobile. I had to put the project down for the night until I decide what I want to use instead, but I could not be less impressed with this product. If I’d started with a YouTube tutorial and bought all of their recommended supplies, this would not have caused me as much grief as it has tonight. Do not buy this. This experience one has left me never wanting to make another hand-made mobile ever again.

The media could not be loaded. I agree that the directions are vague but once you get all the pieces out, it’s fairly self explanatory. Read previous reviews about how the ring broke so I was extra careful and have had zero issues thus far. It took me approximately an hour to measure out where I wanted all my sewn pieces to go and assemble the whole thing. I added a lace border around the large ring and couldn’t be happier with how this turned out for my daughters nursery!
