This has saved me with my newborn! The bassinet it big compared to him and we use this as an insert, but also take it out of the bassinet and lay it on the couch for day naps. The baby loves how it hugs them all around and is super soft. The velvet cover is great material and super soft, but with it starting to be summer I purchased cotton covers because the velvet cover was a bit too warm. The velvet cover would be great for winter. I don’t know what I would do without this lounger!
