Oh this is a MUST!!!! I believe that makes him feel secure because he did not even flinch. It’s so comfortable and thick but at the same time breathable (odd) I’m a first time mom and yes, I look for any awareness before trying with my baby boy. It was easy to put it together, it’s very soft and first time that he slept through the night by himself and not having to put him between dad and I (which I couldn’t sleep at all!!) he sleeps in a pack n play with the open side which is literally next to us!
