I bought this baby support mat for my three-month-old son so he can safely practice tummy time to strengthen his neck and core muscles. My older daughter loves playing on the floor with her brother, and we also needed a portable mat for visits to grandparents' houses. This cotton mat was chosen as a gift on my list of practical baby items. It's more practical than bulky fixed playmats and suitable for babies aged 0 to 24 months for daily play, rest, and tummy time under adult supervision. Made of breathable, soft cotton fabric, the mat features a soft, comfortable, and supportive filling that helps the baby maintain a stable tilt position while practicing tummy time, preventing strain on their delicate neck. The lightweight, foldable design easily fits into a diaper bag, allowing us to create a safe play space anytime, anywhere, during family gatherings or short trips. The rounded corners prevent bumps and bruises, and the skin-friendly material won't irritate a baby's delicate skin. This product is perfect for my baby's short naps and playing with my older child, greatly reducing the stress of caring for the baby at home. The only reason it didn't receive a five-star rating is because the bottom filling is a bit thin. It doesn't completely cushion hard tile floors, so we still need to put a blanket underneath at home. Also, the mat's shape may slightly deform if the baby moves around a lot. Even so, it's still great for promoting a baby's motor development, easy to wipe clean, and makes a thoughtful baby shower gift. It's a very practical everyday item for new parents with a small baby.
