This infant support cushion exceeded my expectations. It arrived vacuum-sealed inside a neat zippered package, so it was initially very compressed. Once the seal was opened and air entered the bag, the cushion began expanding into its intended shape. I especially appreciated the included care card. It explains that the cushion can be left out for several days to expand and release the packaging wrinkles naturally. It also provides an alternative washing, air-drying, and low-heat tumble-drying process to help it fluff up. The card includes clear ongoing cleaning instructions as well, so there is no guesswork about how to care for the product. The prominent safety warning attached directly to the cover was another thoughtful feature. It clearly explains that this is an awake-time support cushion and should never be used for sleep, naps, or unattended lounging. It should remain on the floor with the baby directly supervised. I appreciate that this important information is placed directly on the product instead of being buried somewhere in the packaging. The cushion itself is extremely soft and comfortable. The fabric does not feel itchy, rough, or scratchy, and the blue color matches the listing accurately. Our baby appears very comfortable on it during supervised awake time, and it works well as a soft place for lounging, interaction, and age-appropriate tummy time. The additional removable cover is also very practical. Babies inevitably create messes, so having a spare available while the other is being washed makes it much easier to keep the cushion clean and ready to use. Overall, the thoughtful packaging, clear care instructions, prominent safety messaging, soft construction, extra cover, and our baby’s apparent comfort all impressed me. I was expecting this lounger to be more like the plush, raised-sided baby loungers shown in many product photos online. After taking the cover off, I realized that the actual construction is much flatter and more mattress-like than I expected. The center is quite flat and firm-looking, while the surrounding cushion is padded but doesn't have the tall, puffy bumper appearance I was expecting. That said, I don't think mine is necessarily defective or improperly filled. It appears to be intentionally designed as a relatively flat padded lounger with a soft perimeter, rather than a deeply cushioned "nest" style lounger. This is not what I expected from the listing photos or the appearance of similar products online. If you're specifically looking for a very plush lounger with dramatically raised, cushioned sides, this probably isn't the one. If you're looking for something flatter and more like a padded baby mat with a surrounding cushion, it may work well.

We received this item and it was packaged nicely! It came in an Amazon box and then it was inside a plastic bag that zips open and shut for the main storage! The cushion itself is very soft and fluffy! Super nice material and the fabric is very soft! My daughter has super sensitive skin and this fabric did not bother her skin. We got the gray color and if you want, you could put a sheet over it, but really the fabric is soft enough. Once you open it, I would recommend to wait about a few hours and let it fluff up completely. The type of material that it is, it seems like it would be an easy cleanup if something is spelt on it with just a wipe! It’s a good support to help babies if you are ready to do tummy time or you just want to lay them down on something soft in general! Great item for babies, and I would definitely recommend!

This has a lot of cushion support, is quality made, and feels very soft. I have two of these, and they both prevent roll overs and offer cushion support; however, this is better of the two and even my cats know it. I don't really condone cats sharing a spot with a toddler, so I elected to give this one to them because honestly the baby doesn't know the difference — and partially because I can't get them off of it. Anytime I leave for a moment, I come back to two cats fighting for control over it being un-used. I recommend storing it away from pets, but cleaning it was really easy. I used products supplied by my SIL to disinfect it (she has cats too), and its fine afterward. Less crying, more sleeping, or happy chirping from both the baby and my cats. 5/5

This is a nice baby support cushion for supervised play and everyday activities. The cotton cover feels very soft and breathable, and the cushioning has a comfortable amount of padding without feeling overly bulky. It creates a cozy spot for babies to spend some awake time reaching for toys, interacting with family, or enjoying supervised tummy time. One of my favorite features is that the entire cushion can be washed. Anything made for babies is bound to get messy, so being able to put the whole thing in the washing machine makes cleanup much easier. It also feels lightweight enough to move from room to room or bring along when traveling. The simple design makes it a practical addition to a nursery and something that can get plenty of use during supervised awake time. It would also make a thoughtful and useful baby shower gift for new parents.

The NatEmbrace Baby Lounger, Infant Support Cushion came vacuum sealed twice, one vacuum sealed bag after another. I expected a smell when opening the bagando was greatly surprised that there was absolutely no smell, chemical or otherwise. The lounger comes with a very soft cover that you slip over. I like that there is no zipper to potentially cause injury. The only issue with the cover is that it is big. It is not fitted so there is loose fabric. I wish it was a smaller fit on the lounger. The lounger is soft, but supportive. I would liken this to a tumny time gym mat, but with more support. When I first saw this I thought it was something else. After receiving it I realized that you shouldn't let your baby sleep in it. As I mentioned earlier, it's similar to a baby gym mat except it doesn't have any toys hanging down or off to the side. Quite frankly, I am confused as to this product's function. The instructions says that it's for strong crawlers and that you shouldn't let your baby sleep in it as they can suffocate. It has warnings on every side of the lounger including the lounger cover. So what is the purpose of this if baby already crawls? Tummy time is used to encourage crawling and building muscle. Baby wouldn't need this, in my opinion, if they can already crawl. (For those who might wonder why I got it in the first place: this is a Vine item. You only get a few seconds to determine if you want an item or not before it's gone. So generally you're going off the 1 picture listed and the title. Therefore, when I ordered this I thought it was something else. Baby already has a tummy time gym mat at home that is more interactive and helps encourage movement.)

I love this baby lounger. These little baby nest are so convenient and portable. Cushion infant support thats perfect for younger babies. The soft removable blue cotton cover easily comes off to be washed. It's great for tummy time and play time and easy to carry from one place to another. It says it's for ages 0-24 months but personally I don't know of a 2 year old that would fit in it. I see this as being best for babies 0-6 months unless the child is small for his age. Remember to never leave your baby asleep or unsupervised on one of these mats for safety reasons. $30 is a fair price.
