This is really cute and god quality with a breathable 100% cotton muslin cover and comes fully assembled. It has two main pillow elements, the long cylindrical bumper pillow filled with batting and the mattress pillow which is a piece of pretty nice foam, plus the batting filled head pillow you see in the pictures is a separate piece, it is not attached. The cover of the little head pillow is also not removable. But the main cover (which is all one piece) is removeable and can be washed. The zippers are reasonably good, the zipper for the bumper is a double zipper, it does catch easily on the fabric so you have to zip it with care. There is a separate zipper for the compartment that holds the mattress foam. This would not be waterproof whatsoever. But on the plus side it's reasonably breathable. The mattress seems very comfortable! Baby loungers or baby nests of this kind are meant for constantly supervised daytime use. This is primarily because of the risk of the baby rolling against the side bumper and suffocating. Safe sleeping requires a firm mattress with nothing that could cover the baby's face. A baby lounger is not a substitute for a bassinet or crib. Some people use baby loungers of some sort for cosleeping but this doesn't seem like the wisest thing to use for that. On the one hand it's made of relatively breathable materials, on the other hand it has those puffy sides the baby's face could get trapped against. And then there's that separate pillow piece, which no expert recommends putting an infant to sleep with a pillow. Use good judgment. I repeat, these are only considered safe for daytime well supervised use.

This lounger is so handy! I have it on my bed to put my baby down for a minute while I get dressed. I only use this when I am keeping a close eye on her. I don't use the pillow or anything else inside it for safety reasons as well. My baby can't roll out go on her side so I'm pretty confident in putting her in it. It's not waterproof, but everything separates and can be washed. I really like the raised border because it's perfect to prop up my baby during tummy time. I also use it on my bathroom floor while I use the bathroom or for when I'm about to put my baby in and take her out of the bathtub on my own. I've used this thing so much and all over the house. It's lightweight and I can grab it with one hand no problem. The design is cute and gender neutral enough too use with ask my future babies. It's a great item for the price and perfect for a gift.

string is a hazard. easily washable. I recommend using for a baby that can’t crawl or roll over yet. super comfy and gorgeous looking. I think this is great to travel with for nice place for baby to nap. very good value for this product

Very nice baby lounger. Good quality material and soft fabric. I does take a bit of time to assemble but not horrible. The nice thing it is adjustable for the length over time and lasts a bit longer than some of the pre-formed foam loungers that really only accommodate a baby for about 6 months. Really nice if you want to have your baby in your bed with you and don't want to risk any sort of baby rolling into you or you rolling into the baby. Keep in mind, that you need to be aware of how deeply you sleep and the risks involved with putting a baby in your bad with you if you are a heavy sleeper. If you are a normal to light sleeper, this keeps your baby contained and within reach, especially if you are breast feeding at night. Great for day use if you want to have your baby close by.
