This is quite a nice baby lounger and what is most distinctive about it is the mesh cover of the bumpers with shredded memory foam inside the bumper pillow which is clearly designed for the bumpers to be more breathable and thus safer than other similar babyloungers which are of concern for the baby to get his or her face pressed against the side and suffocate. But even this one urges you to not use it without adult supervision. Any baby lounger is meant for daytime use by an awake baby with an attentive adult. But this design does give some really good peace of mind. There are two foam elements to this which come separately vacuum packed and must be fitted into the fabric cover. The cover is mesh on the bumpers and an adorable corduroy like fabric on the bottom. You really need to put in the base mattress first. It is surprisingly firm. Then you put the bumper pillow in, fortunately the zipper for that goes ALL the way around the entire edge and there are double zippers. Thus putting in the two ends of the bumpers and then zipping it from both ends to the middle seemed to work best. At the feet end the bumper can be left open, or snapped closed. The open position is useful if this is used sometimes for diaper changes. It would be useful to have a protective bed pad or some waterproof cloth to drape over the whole baby lounger if using it for diaper changes, though if it does get dirty the cover is washable. The bottom mattress also has a white cover that also has a zipper on it so if really necessary that can also be washed. This is not waterproof! This is a relatively pricy baby lounger but it is a nice, nice quality product. I don't think the product photos on the ad show it off that well, it's better in person I think. It's both functional and aesthetic. I like the green color I chose. Sometimes you get what you pay for and the value is in the quality. I do recommend that it's a good one if you are concerned to have breathable bumper sides for safety.

I’ve always wanted a baby lounger for my little guy, and this one was a perfect option for us. It’s a nice size for when my baby is an infant and as he grows. I like that you can adapt and change the shape, so it doesn’t competly surround them when they get older and their legs grow too long. It’s nice that it can be used for many purposes like a lounger, for tummy time, for when they are learning to sit, etc!

New parent here—and let me tell you, this Baby Nest has quickly become one of our favorite baby items! From day one, our little one was obsessed. It’s like a cozy little cocoon that makes baby feel snug, safe, and super content—and that means more peace for us too! First off, the design is simple and elegant. We got the khaki color, and it fits right into our home décor without screaming “baby gear.” Love that. It’s also made from soft, breathable cotton, so I never worry about baby overheating or getting fussy from rough fabric. The shape of the lounger is what really makes the magic happen.
