While you'll NEVER have a professional suggest co-sleeping, many of us do it. Sometimes you have to do it just to maintain your sanity. With that come the potential dangers you likely hear about. Do your research and make an informed decision about whether you feel comfortable with it. My Opinions: - I wouldn't suggest using to for co-sleeping unless you really feel like you have to - If you sleep with a partner then I would only use this on a king size bed - Remove the pillow - Make sure baby has enough strength to lift her head The bumper sides are tall enough to keep baby in place (but not taller than babies head) and to also help you be aware of your position in relation to the baby. I am very pleased with this baby lounger for my newest born grand baby. I will say right away that I would never suggest it's use for unattended sleeping but that is just me.....I worry about safety constantly. I feel as though this is a top quality baby product. I am comparing this quality to that of so many other similar products that I have owned or used myself. The color and material is beautiful. The bumper is very thick. The pad has alot of strength to it, meaning it doesn't allow the baby to sink into the padding which is a major safety concern of mine......so this is a huge plus! The instruction piece of paper is easy to follow. The product comes vacuum sealed so give it a day to fully expand and be the correct size. My lounger did not have any bad odor or chemical smell to it. The size allows this to be used in so many different places and for different types of uses. The price is comparable to other similar brands. This would make a great gift for anyone with a new baby or grand baby! ... show more

Whether you are a co-sleeping parent, or you just want a cozy place for baby to lounge, this lounger meets several needs and can grow with baby. The cover is a nice, soft cotton knit. It feels comfortable to the touch - doesn't itch, doesn't pill in the wash. The padding is just firm enough that baby doesn't sink into the lounger. That's important at this age, when they can't turn themselves over yet. The sides allow enough room by baby's face, but still create that cozy nest feeling. This works as a place for baby to nap, sleep, or a small play space. Instead of pulling out a large play mat, this is easier for me to lay out when I'm doing laundry or cooking. The bright, friendly animal design works well for tummy time too. The pictures are interesting, and the sides ensure that baby has a soft place to land if they topple over. This Baby lounger/co-sleeper is a nice value compared to the original "Dock-A-T" which is quite expensive. If you're considering this item I'm pretty sure you'll know the other item. This "bed" is made very nice and the cover easily zips off for cleaning. It's not recommended that babies sleep in this but what can I say, babies sleep at their whim. If your very young baby is on His or Her back and you are keeping an eye on them I don't see why this isn't a fine option. The fabric is nice and the car pattern is very cute. It arrives shrink wrapped and then in a zippered plastic case for storage or travel. I can see that this would be great on a trip for diaper or outfit changes. I'm happy with this item! ... show more

I initially thought I wouldn’t use this often, but I have 3 now, and have used it everyday since my baby was born. It’s so convenient when you’re on the couch to have them laying right next to you, on the floor, literally just everywhere you are. This is great to have the baby right next to you and move around as you need with zero effort. Here it is with a 3 month old in it, in a different cover pattern. Once they get too tall, you just untie the end to make room for their feet. Con: You’ll have to clean the filling like you would a pillow if it gets dirty or smelly. This baby lounger was really easy to set up. It comes in a vacuumed bag so you need to allow some time for it to air out and fluff up. The product itself is made of soft cushion material, but my baby doesn’t sink into it that much. He actually looks rather happy and comfortable on it! This is a nice lounger - it is plushy and comfortable. The cover is removable so you can wash it if needed. I think the handles on this are awesome, makes it easier to move around and hold, especially if your hands are already semi full from a kid or kid accessories.
