This is a fairly sturdy high chair. It is made up of metal poles that have the little pins to lock everything into place. I was able to put it together without even looking at the directions, but instructions are provided as well. The chair portion is one solid piece. The only assembly needed is for the legs. The cushion is not overly padded, but it is of good quality and can be easily wiped down or cleaned. The tray is removable and easily slides on and off with a locking feature on the undersides. The tray has a fold down plastic piece that goes between the baby's legs for added stability in the event of sliding out, but the chair does also have seat belt straps to fasten the baby in. The arm rest pieces are a little wobbly but once the tray is fastened, it is sturdy. This high chair does fold up by pressing on the button at the foot rest, but it does not fold completely flat (without the tray attached) because the seat portion is all one piece and does not fold. The plate actually locks into the tray with little ridges by sliding it clockwise or counter clockwise. You would think that the plate would be positioned with the largest compartment closed to the front, but it does not because of the clip position on the plate itself. There is also a mesh pocket on the back to hold bibs, etc. The aqua play mat is just a play mat. It blows up with a portion air and a portion that you can put water in so the fish float. This play mat does not attach to the high chair and can be used elsewhere as well. All-in-all, this is a nice high chair that should function to your needs. ... show more

    • simple & functional - added water pad fun - easy to keep clean
I really like this high chair. It is simple but functional. It works great for small spaces as it is pretty compact and folds up easily. It is sturdy with a colorful padded seat cover. I appreciate that the chair features a 5-point harness for safety. The 3-point harnesses just aren't as safe once baby has mobility. The included plate locks into the tray which is really nice. The chair even comes with a fillable water play mat that can be used on or off the high chair. The chair does have a mesh pouch in the back for storage, but I don't find myself using it much. I appreciate the simplicity of the chair - its easy to keep clean. All in all, the high chair is good quality with nice extras, as well as being great for small spaces. ... show more

Easy and Simple! This high chair was great to put together, it only took a few minutes and it was complete! Baby loves it and has lots of room to grow! This is a simple high chair without all of the crazy bells and whistles most high chairs offer now days so it’s perfect for both everyday use or just for here and there at grandma or aunties house! We got this for a baby on the way, so we were able to take it out and assemble it and see how it looks and it strikes us as some pretty good quality. We haven't put a child in it yet so we can't speak to what the daily use of it is as that will be a little bit of ways until that time. The media could not be loaded. It was easy to set up. I don’t like that I can’t adjust the seat. It also doesn’t feel the best quality but it’s decent enough. The design of the cushion is cute. It comes with a tray and a water mat. The tray is really really hard and it doesn’t have suction cups under it. Personally I won’t be using the tray. I do like the water mat though! This is a nice sturdy highchair and is easy to fold and store to have it out of the way. Easy to assemble with or without the instructions and cleans up easily. Water mat is great to keep them entertained for a while when you need that extra few minutes to get dinner done.
