I hated the "Original" older Bumbo design (for multiple reasons) Every aspect about it just personally... didn't work for me. Therefore I was very skeptical to purchase another (very similar) Bumbo product. After a ton of research, watching & reading reviews...I found a good price, and decided to go for it... mostly, because the company seemed to have listened to their customers complaints & concerns. Bumbo seemed to of address & fix most (if not all)of the safety concerns, and downfalls that the "Original" seat had..Not to mention they added alot of fresh, new convenient features to the "Newer" mulit-seat design. This is now, my goto high chair at home and very easy to pack up and take on the go ( I store items like toys, food containers and bibs in the underneath compartment..that's REALLY meant to store the insert when the baby grows out of using it anymore...but hey whatever makes my life easier!) My LO was in that weird transitional stage... where he couldn't yet sit up by himself, and was tiny for his age. I was using a Boppy to prop him up & feed him in while at home..Although.. every couple of bites I would have to re-adjust him. Not to mention the baby food all over everything..what a mess! Dot even get me started if I went to feed him while out to eat or visiting friends/family.. I had to either feed him in his takealong- carseat..or make daddy hold him as I get him.. poor daddy got the brute of the food slinging lol.. once again whatever works.. right? The multi seat now straps around the back, and the seat of most dining room chairs very securely (adjustable) so no tipping can accur. Another thing I loved was how comfy and soft the insert is compared to other similar boosters. The leg holes are so much roomier on the new seat, and there's alot more room once insert is removed although my 9 month old son sits very comfortably with the insert still installed..whereas the old bumbo was tight on his thighs very early on. The main selling point for me was the thr high chair table attachment actually is included with the multi seat, and is very easy to take on and off quickly and efficiently.. no more having to spend twice the money to have the extra part, and fumbling around trying to get it to snap on and off.. no fun! For u, or baby... Lastly the base of this multi seat is very wide.. so when sitting as a floor seat, you don't have to worry if the baby wiggled around, and tipping it.. bc its very sturdy! My LO jumps up and down while sitting pretty much, and I never had an issue with tipping. The base has two adjustable settings to allow to sit up higher (for atop a chair) or lower (for flat on the floor) by simply rotating the grey snap on base 180 degrees either direction. So yes I love the Bumbo multi seat! They had moved me back onto their good side for now! And I would highly recommend this for any mother/father of a baby at least 4 months old to help strengthen muscles to be able to sit alone..til a toddler size for independence eating snacks in front of the TV. ... show more

This Bumbo seat is amazing and the aqua color is true to the picture. We now have three of these so we don't have to do so much porting around. Although, it is our go-to when we go out with our 11 month old grandchild. The tray stores right on the back of the seat and slides easily on and off while also locking into place. There is also a seat belt for added safety. There are straps that store in the base of the seat so you can secure it to the back of a chair and also around the seat of the chair. It is a breeze to clean and there are toys you can buy that suction cup right on to the tray. We use ours for meal time and play time and the baby loves it. We started using it at about 5 months of age when he could sit up on his own. He is now 11 months and there is still room for him to grow. ... show more

It is half the price of a high chair and on top of that it is so portable and easy to use and clean. You can take it literally anywhere you can strap it down to or like me we just sit it up on the bed on a towel and feed our baby there. So easy! Also love the variety of colors they come in! I'm a notorious researcher and always read a ton of Amazon reviews before purchasing. This did not disappoint! I have a 2 month old so she's not yet stable enough to be safely put in this and risk looking away for a second. However, it arrived only yesterday and her favorite thing is to sit up (usually against a couch arm or someone holding her) so we tried it out anyways with a blanket around her and she loved it! It's well made and I like all of the adjustable components to the Bumbo. I initially waffled getting it because it was a little spendy and I'm always hurting for money, but the financial opportunity arose and I knew I had to have it. Since it's good up to 3 years or when she no longer fits, I have the absolute feeling that this is our best baby purchase to date. I have yet to experience the full potential but I definitely see it. It's well made, the colored insert it soft touch yet firm, straps seem sturdy and the base won't budge. Tray table is smaller than I had expected but it's just great and I like that you can store the insert and tray table in/on the Bumbo. What a great product. I'll probably update this review as my baby grows. We're excited for the day we can put her in it and have her try her first solid foods. UPDATE: Babe is now almost 4 months and is stable enough to hang out and play in her bumbo multi-seat. She'll hang out in it on the kitchen island while I make dinner and in the bedroom as I fold and put away laundry. I would like to note that I was given a used original bumbo seat last week. The original bumbo is much softer and has a deeper seat to cradle baby in more, as the original bumbo doesn't have any straps of any sort. My baby fits into the original bumbo much better so I prefer using that one for now in lieu of the multi-seat. I originally got the multi-seat because of the tray and its versatility over the original, as I should in theory be able to use the multi seat for longer. Once my baby starts eating solid foods I'll start using the multiseat because we live in a small place and have no room for a full high chair but for now as she is still only on formula, the original is my go-to. By all means there is no reason to have both, but like I said I was given the original by a friend. I thought the comparison was something to take note of based upon needs. ... show more
