I'm in IT and just need to write notes. These notebooks work fine. The non-white paper is nice since it is not so bright and the fact that I can write on both sides and keep the books on the side of my keyboard and still work makes it great. They are not super sturdy but not flimsy like the ones used by kids. They are small an work fine. The lines are a little wide but in IT I have a draw diagrams a lot anyway and just quickly capture into in meetings. The double bound rings make it nice too so papers won't rip. These are perfectly good notebooks, the paper is good quality and I have had no issues with it. The paper can have a bit of ink bleed; if you are writing on one side of the paper, you can see through that there is writing on the other side. My big complaint is that I purchased these having specifically searched for a HARD backed notebook, and the cover and back of these are thick cardstock that does not give enough support to write on unsupported. Overall, I feel like I overpaid, and could have gotten almost the same performance out of notebooks that cost less than a dollar. ... show more
