I'm quite impressed by this fragrance, especially at this very reasonable price point. This is the first time I've used Chrome, or any fragrance from Azzaro for that matter, so I couldn't comment on how this EDP compares to the old school Chrome EDT from the 90s, but my initial thoughts after a couple of sprays are that this is remarkably similar to Bleu de Chanel, which has always been a favourite of mine. Considering that BdC EDP starts at around $120 for 1.7fl oz this makes Chrome an excellent substitute for people who want Bleu de Chanel but don't want to pay Chanel prices. Chrome is perhaps a little warmer, a little less sharp, but it has the same fairly complex but still clean spiciness. It's masculine but fresh, a scent that would be perfect for the summer but won't only be limited to the warmest of days. Long story short, I'm about to run out of Bleu de Chanel and I was saving my pennies so I could swing the $160 for a 3.4fl oz bottle. After receiving the Chrome that purchase becomes much less urgent. I suspect I'll be just as happy to stick with the Chrome through the summer. ... show more
