It is exactly the same game as its original port. But the point tracker is awesome. The way the color tiles are designed to just not slip and fit just right is a really big win in comparison to the first AZUL, where you accidentally moved your board and all progress was kind of uncertain and lost. One of our favorite games. This mini version is great for travel. Compact and lightweight. Fits nicely in my backpack, suitcase or purse. I wish the full size version had player boards like the ones in the mini version. Love it!

I am a big fan of the original Azul, and it’s a favorite during game night. This mini travel version has a lot of innovations. First the game board has divots to keep pieces in place. Also the point tracker is a slider, which is better than the original. However, the travel bag could have been designed better. It should have used a zipper instead of a button to close, since all the tokens in it go flying out when I travel with it. ... show more

Plastic trays are great but it really needs a slightly bigger bag for travel (and perhaps a second bag for discard tiles). Still excellent but needs some tweaking.

The media could not be loaded. Super cute, perfect for travel. Since it is mini, the tiles can be a little difficult to pick up, but overall not a deal breaker. I like that the game boards have notches for the tiles so they can be a little more secure while playing. Overall, 10 out of 10, would buy again. ... show more

    • Fun Game for the Family!
Bought this after playing with a friend. After one round, my family was hooked. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it is not too bad. I love the bag that comes with it for taking it on the go. This was a great buy.

They were so close to having a great travel game! Review is for the bag not the game. Bag does not close shut so tiles can spill out.
