They are soft. There is something wrong with the insides. When I put them on and I tried different socks they were very strong threads crisscrossing inside the the slipper with a sock which made it impossible to put my foot in. I ended up turning them inside out in order to wear them. I did not cut the threads because they are knit and I didn’t want them to totally unravel

I really want to love these socks - they're SO incredibly soft, and SO incredibly warm. I bought them while I was going through some medical procedures that cause my toes to get really cold / lose feeling sometimes, so having something to keep my toes warm sometimes was really important, and these definitely did the job while being soft. :) HOWEVER ... there is a problem with these socks, at least for me... they can snag easily when I put them on. Picture yourself, with your toes getting cold suddenly at night. You'll be in a hurry to get something covering your freezing cold toes, right? So you go to your sock drawer as fast as you can, you grab a pair of socks, you run back to bed, yank a sock onto your foot --- but wait! that sock is caught on something! Oh no! Or ... you try to pull a sock onto your foot but it seems like you have only part of the opening at the top available by the time you get the sock pulled up onto your foot, because a thread has been pulling tighter and tighter the whole time (due to a snagged thread you didn't realize was pulling tighter). Little problems like this with these socks have been an annoyance, and have caused me to wear them less often. Maybe I just have defective feet, which is definitely possible. Anyway, that's my review for what it's worth. Apart from the snagging (in my case) these socks are WONDERFUL.

I've never bought "cute" socks before but, when I saw these I decided to give them a try. So glad I did! They're exactly what I wanted & needed (for my cold kitchen floor). Also, I may have to go into the hospital for a while and their slipper socks are the ugliest socks in the history of the world! I'm not kidding (they were enormous, one size fits all) and the color is my very least favorite (orange). But, I needed to wear them; again, cold floor)! These fit me just right; however, if your're larger than a size 8 shoe (I'm an 8) I'm wouldn't be sure of the fit. Every time I look at them (I got the cat ones) I kind of smile. Very soft & comfortable. Also, I did check out some slipper socks at Amazon & they were quite a bit more in price. The only real difference was that they had the rubber things on the bottoms so one doesn't slip. But, with these I don't think that will be an issue. They are not slippery on my tile floors. So, highly recommend.
