These shelves look really cute and are a nice change from 'regular' floating shelves. The wood grain makes them look more expensive than they are. They don't hold a lot of stuff, but they aren't really supposed to. These shelves can hold useful things, sure, but they are mostly decorative themselves. The hanging cord is already attached and ready to hang, but I think it will take some fiddling to get them to hang straight. Overall, though, these shelves offer a unique and attractive way to display a few special tchotchkes. They would make a nice gift set for virtually anybody, maybe especially for occasions like those awkward office gift exchange events. I haven't quite decided what mine will hold, but they won't go on the wall until after we have moved to our new house. These hanging shelves are a nice size, 17.5x5.5”. Tge wood itself is not too heavy and has a nice rustic look. It would be nice to know how much weight each shelf can hold. I suppose it would make a difference if you mounted these into studs or drywall. The ropes are pre-attached, which I was happy to see... until I realized they aren't even. I had to fiddle with these to get them level, and I'm still not sure I got it right. The rope itself is thick and sturdy, and the brass colored ring is big enough to go around any nail or hanger. Overall these feel sturdy and look nice. But I would have really liked for them to have the ropes attached evenly. ... show more

These are so pretty and so unique! They’re small, and perfect for anyone who loves and collects succulents. Also makes a neat looking display for framed pictures. Would make a nice housewarming type gift. 👍🏻
