I've had plastic expanding folders before and they always crack at the bended parts. I've been using these for a while now, and no damage! They are just as strong as when I unpacked them. I keep lots of records for home, auto, work, pets, repairs, budgeting, gardening, cooking .... and they've held up well no matter where I need them. Pretty colors, great title tabs for organizing, and just the right size.

Color: 12 Pack
The package contains a set of 12 plastic expanding folders in six bright colors. The folders are sized for standard letter or A4 paper and measure 9.8” H x 13” L x 2” W. The edges of the folders are covered by binding tape and is stitched well. On the flap of the folder, each folder has a plastic snap and a label pocket with an index card for labeling the content of the folder. These are nice folders with only one small annoyance. If you want to use any kind of a folder to separate documents the space inside the packet is tight. Just a little more room in the packet would make these a little more versatile. Quality wise these are very nice as designed. The price per folder is a good value as well. The bright colors are nice and help to identify your different project folders. These are a good deal and a recommended buy. ***** Five stars - Exceeded my expectations. I really love it! **** Four stars - Met my expectations. I like it and recommend it. *** Three stars - Average- some pros but some notable cons. ** Two stars - Disappointed- few pros and too many cons. * One star - Terrible! Stay away from it! Star ratings can be misleading but just for the record I tend to be generous on my ratings. If I like something I will mention it. If bad I will point the flaws out especially if the product is misleading. If I feel I can help with additional advice and insight I will also give that. If this helps in any way, great! Thank you for understanding my rating and for reading my review.

Color: 12 Pack
I absolutely love these. They’re great for organizing standard 8.5 x 11 documents, but I’ve found so many other uses for them that I honestly think calling them file folders undersells them. They expand a surprising amount, and the snap closure keeps everything contained. I use them when I travel to organize underwear, bras, hosiery, toiletries, and even individual outfits with accessories. They’re also fantastic for packing flat shoes. Because they’re translucent, you can still see what’s inside without having to open every single one. For paperwork, they’re equally useful. They can hold a substantial document package, travel documents, passports, receipts, or anything else you want to keep together and protected. The different colors and label pockets make it easy to organize everything by category. They’re roomy, sturdy, versatile, and incredibly useful. I keep finding new things to put in them.

As someone who enjoys junk journaling and paper crafting, these expanding file folders have been a fantastic organizational solution. I purchased them to sort my ephemera by color, and they've made finding exactly what I need so much easier. The expandable design is surprisingly roomy. Each folder holds far more than I expected, allowing me to store a large assortment of paper scraps, stickers, die cuts, tags, receipts, and other journaling embellishments without feeling overstuffed. I also appreciate the variety of colors. Using different colored folders makes organizing categories simple and helps me quickly locate the supplies I'm looking for. The clear front with the label pocket is another thoughtful feature, making it easy to identify the contents at a glance. The snap closure stays securely fastened, even when the folders are filled, so I don't have to worry about pieces falling out while moving them around. The plastic material feels durable and offers good protection against dust, bent corners, and everyday wear. Although they're designed for documents, these folders are incredibly versatile. They work just as well for organizing craft supplies as they do for paperwork, making them a great addition to any creative workspace. Overall, these expanding folders are sturdy, spacious, and incredibly practical. They've helped keep my growing junk journaling collection organized, and I can definitely see myself purchasing more as my craft supplies continue to expand.

It’s hard to get excited about a file folder… until you receive one that’s actually well made. These folders strike a nice balance between flexibility and durability. The plastic material has enough structure to protect papers and keep everything organized, but it’s not so rigid that it cracks or feels brittle. You can bend it slightly to fit contents without feeling like you’re about to damage it. The snap closure is secure and easy to use, helping keep papers contained when tossed into a backpack, tote bag, desk drawer, or the mysterious black hole where all of my important documents usually disappear. I love that these come in different colors making organization easier. I also appreciate the label area on the front. It’s a simple feature, but it makes it much easier to identify contents at a glance, especially if you’re using several folders for different projects or subjects. As someone who constantly seems to have stacks of paperwork, therapy resources, school documents, and random forms multiplying around the house, I can see these getting a lot of use. They feel sturdy enough for daily handling without being bulky or heavy and a great fit for all of my random papers. Pros: * Durable yet flexible plastic construction * Secure snap closure * Helpful front label pocket * Holds papers neatly without bending corners * Lightweight but substantial Cons: * The only downside is that now I have fewer excuses for being disorganized. Overall, these are exactly what I want in an expanding file folder: simple, functional, durable, and well-designed. Sometimes the best office supplies are the ones that quietly do their job without drama.
