This was a game changer. It not only raises my handle bars but brings them closer to me. The quality was surprisingly good, especially for the price. It should be noted that it will change the geometry of your riding position, putting more weight on your seat, and saddle. I noticed my rear tire tread wore down a lot quicker than the front because of the added weight on it. But if you have back problems like me, it will help you ride longer with more comfort. I ride 175 mikes a week, and my herniated disk doesn't complain as much as it did before I installed this. And the flat black paint makes it discrete. It does make a creaking sound if you put a lot of weight on it, but its probably because I didn't want to wrench on the screws, figuring it could crack the aluminum housing. This is a good alternative to a short stem, because its adjustable both front and back, and up and down. You'll probably buy more than one for all your bikes as needed.

Very nice, great finish. Came with hardware. Torque specs printed on piece. No branding plastered all over it. Tightens down securely with very little force. The adjustable part isn't a free adjustment either, but has noticeable 'clicks' to lock into place better. I like this way better than adding 15 spacers just to raise the headstock up. Looks like it came on the bike from the factory. Plus, as my son gets a little more confidence, he can lower it back down closer to flat where the stock was. Weight wasn't too much more than the stock for people who are into that sort of thing.

Good product no surprises, was useful for determining a good stem angle, after which I bought a straight stem at the angle I know would work. I had trouble tightening the bolt holding the angle and it would squeak whenever I hit a minor bump. Never did come up with a torque setting that ended the problem. Good value but use these things to figure out the angle, not as a permanent stem.

The looks and build quality have been great so far. It was easy to assemble and fit my aventon level.2 bike perfectly. Having the little bit if adjustment makes for a nicer ride with less hand numbness for me. Only drawback I have, even with a bit of assembly grease. The joint creaks. I tried before without the grease and after with the grease. Made no difference. It is kind-of annoying. But really doesn't affect the performance of this adjustable part.

Exactly what you think it is and made pretty well. As I get older I'm finding I need to ride more and more upright. Youth is wasted on the young. Thank God they make these kind of stems that swap in 5 minutes and allow me to sit a little more upright. Now all my friends want them.
