I was able to order a custom piece 8x20 have it delivered to the house for less than what would have cost me to go to home Depot or Lowe's and buy stock material. The fact that this company cuts it to size is a great value there's literally no waste. It came folded in a box but that wasn't a problem at all once I stretched it out tacked it down with landscaping Staples and put the sand on top as directed the wrinkles were out by the end of the day. It's an absolute must that you put one to two pounds of sand per square foot to weigh it down and make the gass fiber stand up. I couldn't find silica sand anywhere so I used regular play sand this is just a light use application so I don't see it as being a problem. So far so good. I've only had it for a couple weeks so I can't really speak on the durability but it seems well made and I'm thinking it should hold up well. If it doesn't, I will update in the future. It looks fantastic and feels good on the soles of my feet. I've given this product 5 stars but I would caution that this faux grass does get HOT in the sun, very similar to hot concrete. I expected this as I've purchased faux lawns before so my 5 stars will stay. On that note, this product is the best I've purchased so far. Reasonably easy to clean. Either blow with a leaf blower or sweep with a broom (think sweeping carpet). ... show more

    • POOR SHIPPING METHOD

I ordered 3 different sizes. 2 came fine (rolled) 1 came folded and even though I laid it out flat for nearly a week prior to install, the creases from folding are still really visible. You would think that they saw the shipping address (Chicago area) and would have realized that it would not be warm enough in December to allow the creases to "relax" out. So now I get to look at creases until summer( I hope). The product itself seem fine. What were they thinking? Disappointed ... show more

When my handyman laid out the first section, it glittered in the sun like it was laced with Christmas tree tinsel and within minutes was so hot to the touch that no person or pet could possibly last on it for more than a few minutes. We have a custom patio. There are only 3 feet of original concrete patio left between the custom patio and the house. It's lower than the custom patio, but this turf strip works perfectly for the dogs to rest on, guard their bones and sit by the heater on cooler days. I got this turf for a little play area for our toddler. I wanted a place that was safe for her and where we weren’t killing grass with toys, or having to move the toys for mowing.     • Didn't return the turf as once we unwrapped it - it looks great!

We were going to return the turf pieces because through the plastic it looked smashed and the color didn't look good. I convinced my husband to unwrap one and we liked it. So we unwrapped all of them and laid them on the ground outside. We will be nailing them down with turf nails and placing stepping stones in between them for a nice stone and artificial path around the sides of our house. It takes about 2-3 days for the grass to fluff out and then it looks real good. Great price and quick delivery. Glad we changed our mind! ... show more
