Since purchasing this product a few weeks back, I have noticed that it still holds a structure well when in use. The experience I have had with this product differs from past headbands, where this product acts with greater efficiency when pulling back my hair and ensuring that no strands fall loose. With the Ayesha Spa Headband, I am able to secure my hair away from my head with a comfortable fit. This is because the headband is tight, albeit not restrictive to your head size. While I have not yet washed this product, I have found that it works well and has remained pristine throughout the weeks. I would recommend including this product in a gift basket of sorts to your daughter, girlfriend, nephew, etc. This product makes an excellent addition as a skincare/makeup accessory, which will leave you feeling like a princess without the additional responsibilities of the position. This headband gets the job done. It's soft enough, stays in place, and doesn't feel too tight. I do have a smaller head though and only wear this during my skincare routine. The style is not super stylish in my opinion. But I'm just wearing it in the morning and evening at home, so that's fine. It can easily get smudges/dirty from makeup and what not. I have only tried lightly washing it and the smudge hasn't come out completely. I didn't buy the one with the wrist bands. Looking back, I probably would do that instead to keep water from running down your arms. I can't speak to how well those work though. I love this headband. It’s exactly as described and quickly became one of my favorites for doing my skincare and makeup. The material is soft, lightweight, and very comfortable, and it doesn’t pinch behind the ears like some headbands do. It also stays in place really well, which is great when I’m washing my face, applying makeup, or doing a face mask. The sponge design gives a little lift to the hair and keeps everything out of the way without feeling tight.
