While this child's backpack may be a bit pricy, its exceptional design and construction by "AWAY Travel" make it a good value. The target audience of the PAW Patrol show has an age range of 3-6 years and this backpack is sized perfectly for them. The materials and assembly make the backpack quite durable and its design is both functional and fun! Our five-year-old grandson loves taking it to school and it'll probably still be in great shape in a couple years for his younger brother to carry.

This girl's gotta fly and you may even be able to do so because this is really a lightweight backpack! Yes the paw patrol is so so cute along with the bright pink color and yellow accents but it's functional AND SAFE so that showing me they put the thought into this which I appreciate. For instance there is no metal, which is also good for the weight too. The buckles and a unique design I haven't seen before but just when I'm messing with them, I realized I haven't been pinched yet! You have to grab and push both sides in and there's no loose holes ready to attack your fingers! Bonus on the chest strap too which tightens and loosens. Inside, paw patrol logos, a pen holder, and one big pocket big enough for a lunch bag and even an iPad. The outside has one big zip up pocket on the front and 2 water bottle holders on each side of the zippers, which I'll also mention feel good quality and no snagging, smooth zip up. This also has a good amount of stretch to the fabric and will sit up straight so feel free to stuff it as far as it will go. The front has 3 rubber stickers embedded on and an extra loop. I really love the backpack it's very cute especially if your little ones are in school but as frequent travelers this being lightweight, no metal and a good size for a kid we'll be using this to pack and maybe even a day trip bag!

This backpack is SUCH a win—I’m beyond impressed with both the quality and how thoughtfully it’s designed! Right away you can tell it’s made with high-quality materials. The fabric is sturdy but still lightweight, the zippers are smooth and durable, and all of the stitching (especially around the pockets and straps) is really well done. It feels like it will absolutely hold up to daily use and travel. One of my favorite features is the trolley sleeve on the back—this is a total game changer! It slides right over a suitcase handle, making it so much easier for kids to manage their own luggage without everything slipping around. Such a smart addition that makes traveling way less stressful. The design details are also spot on. There’s a padded sleeve inside that fits a tablet or iPad perfectly, plus great organization with multiple compartments and a water bottle pocket. But what really sets this backpack apart is the wide base—you can pack SO much more into this than a typical backpack that’s more narrow. It holds everything without feeling cramped or overstuffed. And of course, it’s absolutely adorable! The Skye design is super cute—kids are obsessed, and honestly, parents will love it just as much for how functional it is. Perfect combination of style, quality, and practicality. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

This backpack is a great size for younger kids and feels very well suited for short trips, daycare items, or everyday essentials.
