I have problem feet , the least of which being very arthritic. That said, I’ve always wanted to wear sandals, particularly the trendier ones like Teva and Chaco, but have never had a comfortable experience, quite to the contrary. So, while accompanying my daughter to a shoe store, I tried a pair of these, as she’s always had success with her ECCO shoes. Sadly, I didn’t get to support our local merchants as these were almost half less on Amazon. I wouldn’t call these sandals as much as an open shoe is more accurate. They offer considerably more cradling of the feet than your basic three strap model and are extremely comfortable and form fitting. They are lightweight and flexible, but offer a great deal of protection and adaptability as you can even cinch the heel as well. Even my sore bunions don’t find much to argue with here, in fact, they’re far more comfortable than my best footwear. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase and hope they don’t discontinue them!

So, I had been using a pair of Teva’s before this. It is common for me to walk up to five miles a day in those, and literally wore the soles out. When I bought those, I didn’t realize I would be hiking so much in them. So when it came time to replace them, I did a Google search looking for “best hiking sandals”, and thus pair came highly recommended After my first hike, I got major blisters on the soles of my feet. I figured I needed to just break them in. I let my feet heal, and tried them again. Blisters. Repeat. Blisters. I’ve given them two months now, and I am going back to Teva. To be fair, they are comfortable. They look good. They support my feet. If you wore them like normal People do, they would be fine. There is something about the texture of the insole that just rubs against my feet. I tried adjusting the fit. I tried a few things. When I do a serious walk I get blisters. I’m keeping them for when I am not planning to hike.

This pair of shoes fits my needs. The three adjusting straps work well for me. When my weight changes I am able to tighten the straps for a good fit. Since I have given up suits, ties and dress shoe I wear these sandals everyday. I do wear them out under the ball of the side of the foot behind the big toe. I have found no remedy that is comfort for a fix. The sandals have many miles of wear to be expected

This is my 3rd pair, and I wore the first 2 for 2 straight years almost every day on the street and light woods-hiking. The soles are very tough and protect your feet better than sneakers. I only replaced each pair when I wanted a fresh arch support because the did flatten out after 2 years. Just like my expensive hiking shoes. Worth every penny for comfort and foot protection.

Ordered them from Peltz Shoes for the awesome price. Happy, didn’t know which model will come, but it came as on the picture. Sandals will run for 10 years, maybe more, while you decide to buy new one. Exceptional quality. I took mine to the garbage after 6 years because of the old smell.

You can hike in these sandals; you can use them to get into the water (for snorkling) and they feel great. Super comfortable
