I usually buy Nike Monarch 4e shoes because I'm diabetic but want my sneakers to look and feel like sneakers. And the Nikes do. They have great padding on all sides so they feel wonderful. Problem is they are getting hard to find and increased over 50%! So I heard about these Avias and I was impressed! They Look very,very similar and feel almost the same. Just slightly a tad less padding but hardly noticeable, really can't tell it when wearing. The sole feels the same as the Nikes. Both shoes feel perfect after they get broken in. Shoes prices are up plenty with Bidenomics. I gave these a try because my go to shoes are now over $65. The Avias felt good out of the box and soon showed shortcomings. First time stepping into the shoe without spreading it open resulted in the back of the shoe above the heel collapsing and leaving a lump that couldn't be straightened out. Next the sole started showing heavy wear after 3 months of normal walking. No jogging, just walking around on pavement. My Addias shoes took 2+ years to look be worn as these Avias. A month later the outer sole partially detached from the midsole. Superglue has given a temporary fix. I advise not buying Avia. The Chinese made shoe is cheap in price and cheaper in quality. Better to stay with something built in Vietnam or Indonesia based on my shoes from the last 5 years. ... show more

I got these to use when I'm exercising and they work perfect for that. I don't think they'd be good for an eight hour shift or a lot of running/walking though. They're very lightweight but don't seem overly supportive. I may need to get an insole for them, maybe that would help. The seem true to size but it feels like there's a burr or uneven stitching inside up by the left big toe. I haven't blistered from it but it's annoying. These will end up being my "throw on to get the mail" or "quick run to the store" shoes. ... show more

From the onset the comfort was good. I have played Pickle-Ball in them three times now and haven’t had any issues with traction on both an outdoor and indoor wooden floor. I would have rated them a 5 star if they were just slightly lighter in weight.

I play a lot of pickleball. These shoes are comfortable and grip the outdoor surface very well. I typically play 8 to 10 hours a week and the shoes look great on top but are showing significant wear on the bottom. I am just not sure if this is normal wear.

Removed 1 star, cause they are quite tight. I took my usual 11, but it runs a bit small and tight. Just a bit, but it makes them less comfort then expected. Otherwise good and sturdy pair of shoes. Color as advertised. Inner sole is perfect.

I love the fact that this shoe was available in Ex wide! It allowed me to take out the insert and put in my orthotics. Very comfortable
