These work really well, fourth time we are using this! A few tips for you, especially since the instructions leave a bit to be desired. 1) WASH THE SHIRT FIRST I forgot about the washing of the shirts ahead of time. The first time we used these the shirts are still hanging in there after about two years and multiple washes. The next two times we forgot to wash the shirts, the iron ons looked great but are peeling a bit already. 2) DO NOT PRINT IN REVERSE, THIS IS NOT AN IRON ON TRANSFER! THINK OF IT MORE LIKE AN IRON ON PATCH! Meaning: What you print out is what you will see EXACTLY on your shirt. The ink does not transfer to your shirt. if you're not sure what that means, do you know those little kid toy tattoos that you peel, apply to skin, and then put a wet sponge on the back of the tattoo to get the ink to "transfer" to the skin (and it does it in reverse of what you see). That is a transfer. This is more like an iron on patch, but instead of a patch, it is what you print out on the printer sheet. 3) PEEL THE BACKING FIRST! Because the "iron on patch" will be stuck to the surface it is on. If you do not peel the backing, then your print will be forever sealed to the backing. You want it sealed onto the shirt. Fortunately, the back of the sheet has numerous pieces on it, not just one big piece, so I was able to cut the shape of the heart on my transfer and still was able to peel it quite easily. 4) Use the white sheet included in between the iron and the printable. I think otherwise you may discolor your shirt with all the heat from the iron 5) 3 minutes, not a lot of pressure, repeatedly going over the entire printable esp the edges I did not use anything close to a lot of pressure, I think that also may discolor your fabric. Just fairly light even pressure over the course of 3 minutes, not staying in any one place too long, over and over and over 6) Let the surface cool down a bit after each iron Mostly because otherwise the next shirt will get hot when you put it down and it's waiting and you don't want to accidentally have your iron on printable get heat sealed any little bit before you apply the iron. Just to be on the safe side Great product!!!

So, I was very worried after reading some of the reviews, but I'm very pleased to say that I used these transfers to make a tee-shirt as well as a baby onesie and they both came out beautifully on the first try. Here are a few pointers that might help you along the way: - If you have sweaty hands, wear gloves! I'm 8 months pregnant and sweaty as can be (pregnancy is gross), and it'll ruin the image so be sure to wear gloves to avoid fingerprints on your fresh design. - The backing is TOUGH to remove! So before you fully cut out your design, use the white/unused part of the page to get a corner started to separate the backing from the image- then pull enough away so some of your design is separated from the backing- it's not sticky on the bottom or anything, so there's no risk to separating the backing early. - Press firmly and longer than the recommended time - I did a minute or two more for each pattern, until I felt confident that it was piping hot and every inch had been sufficiently covered. I kept the iron moving the whole time though, I don't know if settling it in one spot would fry the image, so I wouldn't recommend it. - Get those corners! At my first pass, both designs had the tiniest corner popping up, so I simply put the tracing paper back over it and hit those corners again and they were fine. Overall I was massively pleased with the quality of these transfers and I'd use them again in a heartbeat. It was actually so easy, I'm already thinking of all the neat things I could do with the remaining pages...

These were great! Worked well with home printer, ink printed perfectly. Followed the directions on applying and had to repeat here and there for corners to make sure they were stuck down, but once they were down, they were down. Made it through the wash well without cracking, and had put on a dark gray shirt. No issues with the color - white areas were super bright on the dark shirt. Will be buying again.

I purchased two packs in 2022. The first picture is from the first pack and still looks good after easily over 20 washes in the past 2 years. Same printer and same ink, the second picture is from using the second envelope a few weeks ago. The ink ran when we touched it, probably an hour after printing, smeared while ironing with the paper in between, and is getting worse after only one wash. Does this need to be used within a certain amount of time or did I get a bad batch?
