To say the least this light bar is awesome. Extremely bright n great! its led so it uses alot less power than traditional lighting. Very easy to mount to 12v car battery and run wires to the dash, had to get creative to mount the lightup switch on the dash. Comes with fuses, switch that lights up+on n off, connectors, mounting brackets n hardware,n most importantly the curved light bar. Whats great is that they have a in-line fuse on the red+ (positive)side so if anything you dont fry the entire system, great safety. I also included a pic on how to properly hookup the switch to light up both top n bottom illuminate light on the switch. No instructions were included which is ok, not first rodeo over here.... I really like how lightweight everything is n that all the cords are decent in length. I ended up securing the light bar on my grille bracket on my truck. Just below the actual grille which came out nice but I did have to drill n tap the metal which i had to take off my bumper which was a pain but overall it looks bada##. Not legal for street use because can temporarily blind oncoming drivers. use at your own discretion! Overall its a well built light bar n what seems to be waterproof but its not able to be submerged fully under water. The first order for the light bar I got, didn't work and was missing pieces n hardware. Amazon quickly replaced with another & made sure all items were included for the second order. I took the pics inside to make sure it worked before starting to attach to my vehicle & run the wire, which was time consuming n not so much fun. But it was well worth it! Im super happy with the added look and the added lumens that my truck has now. Turns night time into a bright bold beam of light thanks to my new light bar!     • A Little Challenging to Install as a Novice - But Works
As someone who doesn't regularly wire lighting on vehicles, this was challenging at first glance. It fits my Chevy Colorado and makes a nice addition to the overall truck features - to help light projects on dark days like today when the sun rises late and drops early.     • Thing is a monster!
I'll address it too, Usually box damage is not product review but rather shipper review BUT the packaging was poor, thin cardboard and no "filler" throughout, HOWEVER nothing was missing or damaged inside! It's curved so it's awkward and it's not small nor is it light (but it is A light!) The wiring harness is put together well and is simple and not unsightly. The bar itself is a big one! But it is also bright! You get what you pay for when it comes to this kind of product and this one is certainly on par! The fit and finish is nice, it's solid and sealed. The mounting feet are long enough to mount in any orientation which is not common, nice touch and speaking of feet, they do have nice vibration dampening. Overall it's a great product for the price and if this is what you're looking for! As long as it arrives all there and unscathed! ... show more

The light is very bright and has a nice curve to it so it should spread the light towards the side. But it doesn't. The light is more of a spot directly into the center. I would like to have done a better test but it was missing parts. It's very big light that feels like it's well built. On each end the reflectors for 12 of the LEDs have a different style. I assume this is to make them more of a flood pattern (vs spot) but they didn't really light up the sides. First one of my pet peeves is packaging. I like to see something well packaged but not to the point that it's ridiculous. It looks like Amazon just used the box that it was shipped from China in. The box was damaged and the mounting brackets were lost. The only protection the light had was a thin foam piece on each end of the light and clear plastic over the LEDs. So I had to hold it in my hand to test it. The switch has two wires that I think are for backlighting the switch but there wasn't any directions included with the light. The switch is much nicer than the usual switches included with lights like this. But most of the pictures show yellow LEDs in the center yet they are all white. The light does come with the spade connectors needed to wire the light to the wiring harness. It would be nice if they came crimped on but at least they are included. Not many of these lights come with them. It also comes with spare fuses of various sizes but I don't know why. I assume the fuse that comes installed in the fuse holder is the correct size. The two extra wires coming off the switch could be used to power extra lights. In which case a large fuse could be needed but without a ring diagram or directions I don't know. ... show more

    • Disappointing. Way too dim.
I'm very surprised this light didn't arrive damaged due to how poorly it was packaged. Aside from that, I had high hopes for this light. Not to many sellers include the wiring and light switch with their light bars. You normally have to buy all that separate. The fact that this came with everything you need was very appealing. I will always opt for buying lights that include the wiring vs those that don't. I have a 36" non-curved light bar on my mini truck that I love. I was excited to get this 42" curved light bar to put on my FJ Cruiser. I expected it would look great. Before going through the hassle of installing the light, I decided to hook it up to my battery to test it out. Disappointment quickly set in. This light bar is not very bright at all. In fact the stock headlights on my FJ are much brighter and my FJ headlight are terrible. My 36" light bar on my mini truck can light up my 3 acre property like it's day time but this light bar is like an incandescent flashlight in comparison. I'm just really disappointed with this light bar. It will not be going on my FJ. I'm glad tested it out first. I'm giving this light bar 2 stars because it comes with all the wiring and it technically does work. Overall, I'd recommend getting something else. ... show more
