I bought this to stage a house, which was perfect. As for actual everyday use, I don't know if it would be "cozy" enough for me. I live in Florida so I tend to lean to thinner comforters, however this one just doesn't really have the cozy factor. It's a slicky type material. I have a duvet that I love, but it's way too hot to use in the summer. This comforter is the perfect lightweight and still cozy combo for that fan-on summer sleep. The color is definitely more terracotta than rust (not as rich/deep a color) so if you're going for the redder shade know this will be a lighter/more brownish. So this comforter is very nice but it’s not wide enough for my 14” king mattress. I bought a king size set thinking it would be okay since my mattress was a king but it didn’t fit. It lays right on top and barely hangs over the edge so I don’t recommend getting this one unless you don’t mind the side of your bed showing. Other than that I love it.
