I have combination skin—very oily, very dry. I used to use Cetaphil, but they changed the formula of their face and body lotion to one that is, at least for me, ineffective. This, on the other hand, is a fantastic lotion. It contains dimethicone and petrolatum, two occlusives that help the skin to retain moisture. Unlike other lotions with petrolatum, however, this is somehow not greasy, and it doesn’t seem to make my skin oilier. For me, it is a superior lotion to those made by Cetaphil, CeraVe, Vanicream, etc. (all of which I’ve tried, to no avail). I use it on both my face and body. The only con is that it does leave a bit of a filmy residue (it’s not a lightweight lotion). Some might find this an unpleasant feeling, but I prefer it to the feeling of dry, flaky skin. I’m also acne-prone, and I haven’t noticed an increase in breakouts (I’ve used it for the past year), so it seems to be living up to its claim of being noncomedogenic. Overall, it’s an effective, inexpensive lotion, and it’s a great facial moisturizer for problematic skin—highly recommended. ... show more

This stuff is amazing! It absorbs quickly with no greasy feel. The commercial soap used where I work does a real number on my hands. I use this twice a day, morning and night. Great for very dry skin and not at all sticky. Goes on nice and I love the moisture. I love the big value size and will definitely order it again when I run out. Soothing for itchy skin and I'm not going to use it on my face but as far as my other parts, it's great and effective.

This is a good lotion, providing moisture and relief to dry skin. It’s lightweight and doesn’t have a strong scent. However, the pump is not ideal. You need several pumps of lotion to get an adequate amount and it takes the pump a long time to refill.
