  • Professional Grade, Custom-Ready, and Worth Every Penny
Color: Combo Beam
The media could not be loaded. I picked up a set of these AUXBEAM RGB pod lights for my 2016 Grand Cherokee Overland and was so impressed, I immediately bought a second set to mount behind four of the seven grille slots on my Jeep. These lights are legit. The build quality is top-tier, heavy-duty aluminum housings, stainless steel brackets, and waterproof connectors that feel like they belong on pro-grade gear. 💡 RGB Backlighting & Lens Swaps = Endless Customization The RGB backlighting is a standout feature. Tons of solid colors and gradient modes to choose from, and swapping between the yellow and clear lenses completely changes the vibe. In my video, you’ll see the clear lenses on the right and yellow on the left, some colors look similar, but others pop way differently depending on the lens. It’s a killer way to dial in your vehivles custom look. 🔦 Spot + Flood Combo That Actually Works I went with the spot/flood combo and it performs exactly as advertised. The two upper LEDs focus into a tight spotlight beam, while the lower section floods the surrounding area. I tested them against my garage door, the beam pattern is clean and effective. With four lights in the grille (two yellow lenses in the outer slots, two clear lenses toward the center), I’m getting both close-range coverage and long-distance punch out of all 4 lights. 🛠️ DIY Wiring & Fuse Tips After grabbing the second set, I asked AUXBEAM if I could run all four lights off a single two-light harness. They said yes, as long as you can find the proper splitters. I couldn’t find a reasonably priced splitter setup, so I built my own. It took some time, but it turned out exactly how I wanted. One thing to note: if you're running four lights off one harness/controller, you must upgrade the inline fuse. - 10A fuse = instant pop - 15A = powers on, but fails with backlighting - 20A = perfect operation with full RGB and spot/flood combo 🔧 Mounting & Fitment Installation should be fairly easy, just hook up your power and ground, route the wires, mount the controller, and bolt the lights down. I know it sounds a lot simpler than it is. But the included harness should make things very simple. These pods are compact and versatile. You can mount them as ditch lights, grille lights, bumper lights, or overhead. The stainless hardware and brackets are solid, absolutely no flex, no cheap fasteners. I’m integrating them with existing grille backlighting, and the RGB sync is going to look wild once installed. ⚠️ One Limitation: No Switch Panel Integration The only downside is that you can’t wire these into an AUXBEAM 8-gang switch panel or any other switch panel. The controller has a built-in circuit board for the RGB and RGB button backlighting, and both AUXBEAM and their Amazon store confirmed it must remain intact. No splicing, no bypassing. You’ll need to use the included two-button controller. ✅ Final Verdict These lights are phenomenal. Rugged, bright, customizable, and compact enough to mount anywhere. The RGB effects and lens options make them feel truly custom. I liked them so much I bought a second set and I would definitely do it again. If you're into Jeep mods or off-road lighting, these are absolutely worth it. Definitely custom! ... show more

  • Auxbeam RGBW Pod Lights: Overkill Fun for Your Razor 570
Color: Flood Beam
Mounted these on my Razor 570's front roll cage, and after a couple of night rides and trail abuse, they deliver serious output with genuinely useful RGB features—though you're paying for more capability than a UTV strictly needs. What Actually Impresses Output Is Legitimately Massive 12,960 lumens from two pods floods trails with absurd brightness. The 80° spread eliminates dark corners completely—you see everything from ditch to treeline without turning your head. At 610 feet of usable light, you're spotting obstacles way before you reach them. For aggressive night riding, this visibility is a legitimate safety upgrade. RGB Without the App Nonsense Seven solid colors plus gradient mode, controlled by a dedicated button—no buggy Bluetooth apps or phone mounting required. Power-off memory is clutch; it remembers your last color when you fire up the Razor. Swapping between white for serious trail riding and amber for dust/fog takes one button press. The real-time color sync actually works, unlike cheaper RGB systems that lag or flicker. Lens Covers Add Real Versatility Removable white and amber covers swap in seconds with the included tool. Amber cuts through dust clouds significantly better than clear—critical on dry trail days when you're eating roost. Having both options at this price beats buying separate lights. Installation Is Genuinely Plug-and-Play The included harness with integrated RGB switch mounts cleanly—no wire splicing or sketchy panel connections. Took 30 minutes to mount both pods on the cage and route cables. The DT connectors are weather-sealed and haven't loosened despite constant vibration. Real-World Performance on the Razor IP68 Rating Handles UTV Abuse Survived muddy water crossings, pressure washing, and getting absolutely caked in dust. The pressure-stabilized design prevents fogging—a common failure point on cheaper pods. After dozens of rides through muck, internals remain crystal clear. Cooling Keeps Up Full copper PCB and aluminum housing dissipate heat effectively even during extended night rides. No dimming or thermal shutdowns after 3+ hours of continuous use. The 304 stainless brackets have zero rust despite exposure to mud and creek crossings. Mounting Fits UTVs Perfectly The 3-inch size with adjustable brackets bolts right to standard roll cage tubing. Aimed them slightly downward for optimal trail coverage. Vibration hasn't loosened anything—the bracket design is solid. Where It Falls Short RGB Is Cool, Not Critical Let's be honest: the seven-color system is more "because I can" than genuinely useful. White for riding, amber for dust, maybe red for camp—that's 99% of real usage. The gradient cycling mode looks cool for 30 seconds, then you'll forget it exists. You're paying extra for features you'll rarely use. Overkill for Casual Riding If you're putting around at dusk, this is way more light than necessary. These are built for aggressive trail riding where visibility equals safety. Casual users would be fine with half the output at two-thirds the price. Harness-Only Compatibility Is Restrictive You must use their included harness—no flexibility for custom wiring or integration with existing switches. For most people this simplifies installation, but tinkerers who want total control will find it limiting. Flood-Only Limits Distance Spotting The 80° spread is perfect for wide trails but lacks the focused punch for spotting distant obstacles on open terrain. If you frequently ride desert or wide fire roads, a combo beam (flood + spot) would be more versatile. The Value Equation At this price for two pods with RGB, lens covers, and a complete plug-and-play harness, you're getting solid value—if you'll actually use the features. The core lighting performance justifies the cost; RGB and lens covers are nice bonuses that add functionality without much price premium. Buy if: You ride aggressively at night, want maximum trail visibility, appreciate having color options for dust/fog, and value plug-and-play installation. The output and build quality suit serious off-road use. Skip if: You ride casually after sunset, don't need RGB gimmicks, or want spot beams for distance. Basic white-only pods would serve you fine at lower cost. Final Verdict After less than a month on the Razor 570, these lights transform night riding from sketchy to confident. The output is borderline excessive in the best way—you see everything. Build quality handles UTV punishment without issue. RGB control works reliably without app frustrations. Are they overkill? Absolutely. Do I regret buying them? Not once. When you're hammering through technical trails in darkness, having this much clean, wide light ahead makes every ride safer and more enjoyable. Bottom line: Premium performance with fun extras that you'll actually use—assuming you ride hard enough to justify the capability. For weekend warriors, it's unnecessary. For night-riding enthusiasts, it's money well spent. ... show more
