The media could not be loaded. I've now installed the 30" bar on two of my trucks, a 2004 Avalanche and a 2018 Silverado. The Avalanche has a brushguard, that I ended up drilling the mounts and used the supplied brackets. The Silverado has a RanchHand Summit, which I ended up drilling the bumper below the grill guard, and again used the supplied brackets. Both are rock solid mounts this way. I've used these about a week now, and the lighting increase is phenomenal. I used the "Auxbeam Led Light Bar Wiring Harness Kit with Fuse 40A Relay ON/OFF Switch (1 Lead Universal)" on both installs as well. Great, easy way to fire up the lights. Massive lighting increase for sub-$70, to help spot the various animals we encounter in our rural location. (Yes, the brushguard on the Avalanche is wracked, as we have now hit three deer over it's life...) Update: 12/17/2018 Both light bars continue to perform flawlessly. SO much better to spot God's creatures in the adjoining fields BEFORE, rather than sprawled across the hood... These are used at least 3 to 5 times per week, sometimes for three hours at a stretch.

I'm not an off roader in that I do not drive a lifted truck with locking differentials or AT tires. Instead, I drive a ladder-frame SUV to bike parks in mountainous areas. Artificial lighting in such areas are, of course, of a much lower magnitude than that found near populous areas. In contrast to it's other capabilities, the R51 Nissan Pathfinder (2005-2012) has halogen headlamps that are poorly suited to such environments. As such, I bought this light bar. My expectation was to be able to provide sufficient flood and "focused" lighting in dark, rural areas at night time and/or in poor weather conditions. The Auxbeam light bar does provide good amounts of such light under such conditions, particularly when considering the cost of this bar and it's associated electrical components. However, I take issue with two aspects: 1. The listing says the light produces 198 watts of light power. This isn't correct. I measured the current draw directly through the relay with both the light off and on. When off, current draw was about 1/10 of an amp. When on, the current draw was about 8.2 amps. Since the electricity is DC, this means that approximately 98.4 watts of energy is flowing through wiring. Ignoring the efficiency of the light bar, the 198W cited in the name of the product is 100 watts higher than the power draw from the battery. Factor in the efficiency of the LEDs into this calculation and the percentage gets even smaller. False advertising. 2. The second point is more of a consequence of my circumstances than a poor characteristic of the light bar. But, I think it's worth mentioning. The mounts have been designed to be placed on top of surface, as opposed to under. Since I have a stock bumper and because I have to account for license plates, I had to hang the light bar. Getting the light bar properly aligned required a custom mount, as the location of the three nuts doesn't allow the bar to be aimed horizontally or to be tilted down in this situation. Not a big deal, but something worth noting. I've only had the bar installed for about 1 day, but everything seems to be working well. All LEDs work, light wiring has not shown any issues, casing seems rugged enough to handle the conditions I want to put it it, and heat generation seems to be handled without issue. If the mounting parts had a 180 degree arc and if the light temperature was a bit cooler (preference), I'd give this light bar the highest rating possible.

This Auxbeam is super bright and high quality. The aluminum metal housing appears robust, and the plastic or glass front (not sure which it is) also seems quite sturdy. I am in the process of mounting on the front of my Jeep (making adapters) and the three mounting hardware setups that come with the light are well designed and sturdy, allowing you to angle the light as you'd need/want to for most applications. The wire is also thick and enclosed in sturdy rubber casing. I tested this light and it is super bright. Will be a huge upgrade to my lad pair of PIAA fog/running lights. UPDATE AFTER INSTALLING: Yea. These things are super bright. They are way brighter than my PIAA combo fog/high beams. They are too bright to use in situations where I have oncoming traffic, but for my application that's fine and expected. If you are hoping to use this LED light bar to supplement your headlights during daily driving when there could be oncoming traffic, think again. These are too bright for that even when aimed low like fog lights. The center portion is a flood light, and it really does flood the area with light!

This is a awesome light bar for the price! At almost 20,000 lumins and a light color equivalent to 6000k HID's, this thing is super bright and its like day light. The fog LEDs provide a great spread of light all the way to the sides of the road and farther. The center spot light LEDs provide that long look down the road. I used to have three KC Daylighters that were all spot beam style lights and they were bright and shined a long ways. However this light bar puts these KC lights to shame. I haven't heard of Auxbeam before so to me its not a name brand like KC, rigid, Cree, etc. So with that being said it may not be name brand but I'd rather pay a fraction of the price for this Auxbeam light bar than pay hundreds of dollars for a name brand one, when this Auxbeam is just as good. All in all, great light bar. Great price. And extremely satisfied. Highly recommend this Auxbeam light bar
