Update: I now own this in black, brown, light brown/tan, and navy. I still love the shirts, but I have noticed pilling from coming into contact with other fabric and even just from my arms rubbing against my sides. I still really like the shirts a lot, and they’ve held up otherwise, but maybe something to consider if that sort of thing bothers you. These are still great layering pieces and cover you well while not feeling like you’re in a turtleneck. Original review: I LOVE this shirt. I have a larger chest and have a hard time finding shirts that fit loose enough in the chest to be modest but not drowning me in fabric that makes me look bigger all around and then tight enough on the stomach that it’s not like I’m wearing a flowy tunic top, but not so tight it’s making me look like my clothes are too small. I got this shirt, tried it on, and then immediately popped back on Amazon to buy another one in black too! The brown is a chocolatey brown with a slight hint of rust maybe? Not sure that’s the best way to describe the shade, but it’s really really pretty. It’s also really comfy and a good thickness. I think it will be great to help me stay warm when I layer it, but won’t overheat me if I misjudge and wear it on a warmer fall day. Love this! Might order more. I haven’t washed it yet but the brown is as pictured; rich warm brown. Super soft, ribbed knit fabric, not see-through. I ordered M, I am a small top and medium size in the hips. The shirt fits snug, great for a base layer. I plan to wear with a vest or over sized button down. Sleeves are a good length not short. I like the neckline, low but not revealing. I gave it a 4 because it is tight across the girls which makes a few stretch ripples between them. Also the shoulder seam is a bit short making the top of the sleeve go over the top of my arm. That’s a bit of a knit pick but for a person who sews clothing, it’s a thing. ... show more
