I only have experience with the plug's characteristics in what would be considered 212cc - 264cc open-class motors. Qualifiers would be an aftermarket ignition, .360 or greater valvetrain lift, compression, and ignition timing requiring 100 or better octane, a big valve ported head, and big jets on a big carb. These big-build configurations show a noticeable torque increase across the entire RPM range with the AR3910X plug. The power is diminished if I swap out this plug for an AR3910 or any other transistor plug. I tested a dozen or so spark plugs. I do live in coastal central Florida. So there are times these motors are burning more water than air. You may have different results if you live in a more favorable PA/DA climate. ... show more

Hey look, this is a great product for Jr. 2 and up go kart racing when paired with a clone or predator. I bought this for a Jr.1 kart and I had to change the plug after every race and the kart kept dying at idle during the heat and feature races. I was told that the air from is restricted to much to run this plug in Jr.1 class so I switched to Autolite 3922 and my problems went away. This is a good product, don’t get me wrong but may not perform well with restricted plate karts. I gave them to a buddy how’s son runs the class above us and they are doing great for them. ... show more

    • Excellent Quality Spark Plug for a Predator - 212cc Hemi & Non-Hemi OHV Engines

I purchased this spark plug for my older brothers Predator - 212cc Hemi OHV Engine that is going into a Baja Motorsports - Dirt Bug DB30S Mini Bike I am restoring for him. I used Maxima - Premium Break-In 10w30 Off-Road Engine Oil for the engine break-in & after the engine was broken in after 3 hours I replaced the low quality Torch brand spark plug with the Autolite - AR3910X Racing Spark Plug. I certainly did not notice any kind of horsepower increase like some people claim but the engine does seem to start easier when cold & idles far better. Would I purchase this spark plug again instead of just purchasing a high quality NGK spark plug for half the cost? No way, these spark plugs are way to over priced & not worth the cost in my opinion. These are good quality spark plugs but for the cost & performance they provide they are not worth it. I recommend just purchasing a high quality NGK spark plug for under $3.00 & saving some money for better things that are worth the money instead. ... show more
