After reading various reviews on how the product wasn't working and the overall score I still decided to take a chance on the product. I used this for my jeep grand cherokee 2015 and immediately when I received the product I noticed that the picture from this webpage didn't match what I received. Instead of small tabs with a small piece of tape, the product has a solid tab from one end to the other with a long strip of continuous tape. It feels like they may have now modified their design based on the feedback but they should probably update this image to reflect that. So after noticing that I went ahead with the installation and one thing I would also call out is that the instructions page that I got had no English instructions. They were spanish/french. This wasn't a huge deal for me as I more or less figured it out from watching videos online about it, in fact you can get the instructions from their website if you want to. I took the advise from the feedback i read in some reviews and made sure that the front/back tabs didn't go into the window channel but rather between the door post/rubber and set the visors in for 24+ hrs. I've now used them for a couple days and they feel sturdy and look great, it is a very slim profile that doesn't interfere with the chrome trim around my windows. Overall I'm glad I took the risk and went ahead with the purchase as some of the other options are way more expensive and don't look or feel any better. If I had only one complaint it would be the white company AVS logo on them but I'm sure you could do something about that yourself. ... show more

    • worthless, blew off in a stiff breeze

The only good thing about these visors were that the shipped very fast. I knew immediately that they were not going to stick. The adhesive strip was very small, and they did not fit in the channel tightly. I did not install these upon arrival (that was my mistake) and waited about 3 weeks before I had the time to install. The driver door visor came off first (just after the return window expired) while sitting still with the window up, not even moving, it just fell. The passenger door visor is loose and makes a tapping sound as you are driving. The two rear windows are also loose and will probably fall any day now. I am taking them off and pitching them in the trash. Don't waste your money. You will be regret it if you buy these visors. I read the warnings from other buyers and thought I would be the exception. I have had other visors made by this same company and have always been satisfied. I was so wrong. ... show more

If you read, most of the bad reviews are for the 'in channel' gaurds. I've had these on my last 4 vehicles, and tried the in channel ones for two of them, from several mfg's, and NONE of them work well, they all mess with window roll up. So I gave up and went outside stick on, and have always been happy. So, get the outside ones, they look just as good, stick well (only had one set come off in a car wash, due to bad tape on the front of two of the vents), and are less expensive. These, for the Grand Cherokee, look really good, like it came with them. Make sure to clean the window rails good, and get the lined up before you stick them on, and you should be happy. I had a set on my F-150 for almost 6 years, with no problems. ... show more

These work fine but if you buy them you will have to buy real 3m tape to install them properly!! The tape they supply DOES NOT HOLD!!!! And the fit rather loosely!!! I almost lost 2 of them just driving down the toad because the tape they supply has no grip!!! Even if you clean the area we'll with the alcohol pads and scuff up your window seal!! So if you buy expect yo spend another 20 to 35 dollars for quality tape!!!!! ... show more

Let’s start with the good. The ventvisors are a very easy & secure install if you install it properly. Start by thoroughly cleaning all the window channels with the alchohol wipes . On the 21 jeep grand cherokee, all (4) ventvisor ends (with no tape) must be tucked in between the gasket & outer door casing, NOT inside the window channel. All the bad reviews are due to folks installing the ends in the window channel where it gets caught by the window going up. The bad: the QR code takes you to a website with instruction videos you have to search for. Bad instructions are the reason for so many bad installs. Also, AVS should also provide a few more & larger alcohol wipes . ... show more

    • They don’t fit

I really, really wanted to like these because they are Made in America, and I try to support that as much as possible. They look good when installed, but they block the front windows from rolling up, so you get into this battle with the auto up/down feature. You have to physically move the visor in order for the window to clear it; the issue seems to be in the corner closest to the door opening. The rear ones cleared without issue, but it just looks dumb to only have visors on the rear windows. The adhesive that comes installed is next to useless; the first time I rolled the window up it popped the visor off onto the ground. I ended up ordering some VHB tape, which worked a little better (they didn’t pop off all the times the window hit it, but they come off fairly easily when I pulled them off - after 72 hours of keeping the windows rolled up). If it doesn’t work as advertised, then it isn’t worth it IMHO. Since I prefer the look of the in-channel mount over the tacky looking outside mount, I’ll return these and try to find some that will not interfere with use of the windows. ... show more
