I’m pretty happy with the shelving unit. To be honest, I only looked at it very briefly before purchasing and when it arrived, I was very surprised at how heavy the box was. I thought this was plastic, but it’s definitely a metal shelving unit so for someone who’s looking for something heavy duty then this is great. But if you’re looking for something lighter weight, then this is probably not for you. Pros: - sturdy. Especially after you put weight on it so the shelves really lock in. - large size. About 6’ tall and plenty wide. The depth is modest but works. - adaptable. Shelves can be placed wherever you want. And you can even use this as one large shelving unit or two smaller. - looks sharp with matte black. Cons: - instructions are not the best. Pics are small but it’s easy to put together anyway so I threw them out. - somewhat less solid than expected but I think it gets even better once weight is on it. Notably where the two vertical sections connect it could be a better connection point. - the mallet that comes with it is absolutely junk. Use your own or a small 2x4 block. ... show more

I got this to fit in the corner of my building. It is a lot flimsier than it looks. It was very easy to assemble, but that is one of the problems. Any variance in the floor and the bars pop out as they just sit in with the lightest of friction. There is no way to level the shelf, so if your floor is not perfectly flat then the braces will pop out. Once you put some weight on it it seems to hold up better and I shimmed a leg, but another issue is that it connects via the middle with a shelf. It does not have a way to join the 2 halves without putting a shelf directly in the center so your storage capacity size is limited to half the height. This limits the ability to use standard totes. I'd say value for money, as long as you have a level floor and are using it for lots of small items you will be good to go! ... show more
