My son has really enjoyed this cool bus. He’s 3 and loves “fixing” his cars so this was perfect! He needs a little help putting it back together, but having the tools and parts to play with have been great. My only complaint is it’s just SO LOUD. I have a 3 year old and an 11 month old, so I’m used to noisy toys but this is very loud. Especially when the storage “piggy bank” compartment opens. A volume control would be nice, or just overall turn it down a little would be great. The size is perfect for little ones who love pretending to drive around the house and then “fixing” it. If the volume issue was addressed I would definitely give it 5 stars.

It's great! I'd say my first reaction is "whoa" it's big and there is a LOT here. And I mean parts, levers, buttons, compartments, wheel, and then that is just the cabin/driver's seat. The hood has a lot of lights and different parts to work on, manipulate, and play with too. There is just a LOT here. I'm impressed by how much there is to do, and I don't think the listing or the photos give justice to how much there is. So this is a GREAT toy for keeping a toddler busy! As it relates to the age, 3-5, well I would say it is better for a little later in the 3's or maybe for an advanced 3-year-old. The tools and working part is a little more complex and difficult to use for a 3-year-old, but that's okay because the driver's seat has a lot there. So what we did is put everything together for our toddler, take away the tools, and allow him to play with the driver's area and look under the hood. In supervised play, we bring out the tools and work on the parts under the hood, and we anticipate in the future that he will be able to do it himself when he is maybe 3.5-4. That said, this toy is PERFECT for a 4 or 5 year old, and it is fantastic for a boy or girl -- his cousins love it, including his female cousin -- so this is NOT a gender-based toy, but a fun toy for all. The one drawback is that it is loud. I wish there was a way to adjust that. I might open it up to put a plastic bag or something around the speaker to mute it a little, but I don't want to mess with it because the toy itself is great. So that's our one compliant, needs a volume. Especially because when our baby is napping -- as many families may have multiple kids -- there is no way to mute this and, even in a decent/big size house -- this toy will ECHO and be loud enough to disturb anyone sleeping. That said, I think the loud nature of it adds to the fun and entertainment. I would recommend this product, but also note that it is a FANTASTIC gift. The box it comes in is a little big and heavy, but it is compact! There is so much to do here, that a toddler and the toddler's parents will thank you for giving this gift. Great product, will be on the lookout for similar ones in the future!

I love it! We had so much fun putting it together and taking it apart. The only complaint I have is that it is super loud and no way to turn it down. I've been half tempted to just take the batteries out.

Son loves this toy and spends plenty of time playing and tinkering under the hood. Awesome toy to drive curiosity and relate to the LOs that want to help but are still too little

Great toy! Definitely for kids three and older. They would have to no the functions of a screw and how to put it in. My kids are a little bit younger so I did the assembly myself which was easy and they just play with it like they would any other toy. I think when they get older, they will definitely appreciate, taking it apart and putting it together.
