I have owned a pair of brown Ugg's for many years but needed a pair of black ones similar to those and these Ausland boots fit the bill. Very comfortable, fit perfectly, warm and though we don't get too much snow I know they will work perfectly when we do. I normally wear a size 9 shoe so that is what I purchased in this boot and there is plenty of room for a nice pair of socks. Bottoms seem a bit stiff since they are new, but I am sure after wearing them a few times they will adapt to my feet and walking style.     • Wonderful boot 2nd pair
LOVE these boots I bought them last year for my daughter and she loved them also. She measures an 8 and wears an 8.5 in boots. She loves them and they have held up great. I needed a boot to wear to an event and she let me borrow them. I couldn't believe how comfortable they were and decided to buy a pair for myself. I measure an 8.5 and wear a 9 in boots. But these only come in half sizes and her 8.5 fit me great so I bought the same size as her. I have very flat normal width feet and they were comfy and she has a very high instep and arch and she finds them comfy so we both have very different feet yet find they accommodate both, even being a half size off. I felt the 9.5 would be to big for me.... I even have Morton's neuroma's in each foot( which are pinched nerves) and I am still able to wear these boots. I recommend using a waterproof spray but I believe they come with a coating already on them, but I love the water proofer from famous footwear and we are able to wear our boots in the snow and not have water leak through them. Love the gray color it's a very pretty neutral for wearing with everything. Also super comfy with socks or without. ... show more

These are half the price as EMU and just as comfy and waterproof and the color is a light sand color that is gorgeous. Addition I've had for 2 winters now. Still as fluffy and cozy warm inside. Got me through 2 brutal noreasters and subzero temps and still look as good as new. I love these boots, and I am desperately disappointed that they are no longer offering a chocolate brown. They are my all-time favorites. But I did have to order definitely a size down because the fur is wonderful and it forms to your feet but overtime loosens up, which is just fine. I normally wear a 7 1/2. I ordered a 6 1/2. I know that sounds like a lot, but they were super cozy and comfortable, and my foot formed to the fur within just a couple weeks and they were wonderful Today I finally ordered a black in the same boot, but still definitely disappointed about the chocolate brown ... show more

These winter boots are beautiful and fit awesome. They come to mid calf and that's fine also. The inside are also very warm and seem like they should keep your feet nice and warm.

    • I loved them for the waterproof thing but
I always wear my uggs boots sockless and when I tried to do the same with those I started itching and having rashes on my legs. Not sure why. They are good boots as long as you wear socks but something has to be not good when my skin is in contact with the material inside.
