I chose this set because I thought metal would be better than plastic, and less likely to be broken. The set is fairly durable. Which is great. But the teapot lid already lost the handle the first day. The pieces all only fit in the box when placed just so. And the tray got bent up really easily. To say the metal is fairly thin. This set is probably exactly what I should have expected for the low price. It all looks pretty cheap and flimsy. A little embarassed to give it to our 4 year old grand girl. Much smaller than I had expected.
