As the title said, it's nice and soft. Feels great under your feet. Because of the material, your drums/pedals will slide around, which kind of makes it not great for drums as advertised. This is partially my fault, I didn't research what makes a good drum rug. But since it was advertised as one, I figured I should mention it. It does a pretty good job of dampening the sound of me hitting my electric drum kit though, so that's nice. I'll likely buy a proper drum rug at some point and move this somewhere else. ... show more

I really like this rug! I bought it for 2 reasons, and it does its job for both of those, so I am very pleased. 1. I bought this to hold on cat litter. I live in an apartment with my girlfriend and 3 cats. The whole apartment is hardwood flooring. If you have a cat, you know that keeping a litter box on hard wood flooring is a NIGHTMARE. You are going to have litter any and everywhere. Well, not if you get this rug. It is very thick, and does a great job at capturing litter. It doesn’t catch all of it, but I don’t think there’s a rug or mat that exists that will catch all of it otherwise I’d probably have it. 2. Since my apartment is all hardwood, the cats slip around all over the floor and don’t really have a great place to play because they can’t get traction. I put this rug down, and another one next to it, and it opened up the whole room so that they can play in it. They also really like the material, and like to lay in it, and scratch their nails in it. Now, I know not everyone has a cat or is willing to buy a rug for a cat. However, even if you don’t have a cat I’d recommend getting this rug. For the price, compared to the size, you’ll be hard pressed to find something better. I do have a minor complaint, but I don’t feel like it deserves to take off a star because I really like the rug and this problem can be solved very easily. The bottom of the rug isn’t really slip-proof if you are putting it on a hard floor. The thing is, most rugs claim to be “slip-proof” but aren’t. There are ways around this though. (1) Put the rug under something heavy. If you can put a couch on top of the rug, you won’t have problems. (2)Get some rug adhesive. It’s cheap, and it works wonders. I put some rug adhesive along the sides and corners and the rug doesn’t move at all. The adhesive won’t ruin the floor, it comes up very easily when you need to remove it. Overall, i’m very pleased with the product. It met my expectations and then some. It’s easy to clean via vacuum, so there’s really nothing for me to be upset about! ... show more

This one is very soft and cuddly. It feels warm and yummy on your bare feet. But be careful what you do around it. Everything disappears into its yarn dimensions. Everything. A pen? Yep. Had to dig around with my toes to find that one. Luckily that was a pleasant process. A steel crochet hook? OH yes. Gone. Had to get the magnet out for that one. Dirt and grime? ... sadly .. yes. It is a bit of a collector. That is the major criticism about this rug style in general: that it is hard to clean. The only thing that doesn't disappear into its cozy darkness is the ubiquitous fluffs of dog undercoat that get everywhere else too even though I don't allow the dogs near it. Unlike the other things, the white fluff is really easy to spot, even from afar, and it usually comes off moderately easily with a lint roller. Overall I'm happy with this rug ... which feels more like a pet. A huge, dark, thing-hiding beast that feels so amazing that you want to pet it all day ... but that hates baths and getting cleaned so you have to lug it outside to do a good job of it. The vacuum cleaner struggles to get through the pile, so I tend to take it outside when I need to give it a really good cleaning. I bang it around a bit every once in a while, REALLY old school, which is a bit of a hassle and makes me sneeze. But I have concerns about it playing nicely with my washing machine, so I take it all as part of taking care of such a great carPET. None of its challenges keep me from loving this beast of an area rug, a dark bit of shag was my own style choice, though I am a bit surprised that it is shorter than they said it would be. ... show more

This is the Aucuda Memory Foam Rug, it measures 4 x 6 ft. The rug is anti-slip and anti-shed. It is very plush and fuzzy. My pets did of course have to "break it in". I went over it quickly with the steam cleaner and it dried fine. It says to spot wipe, or you can try to hand wash but don't use the washing machine. It does the best with cold water and gentle soap. My bedroom carpet is this drab brown color and it's not soft at all so I really hate walking on it. The moment I laid out this rug, I was in love. There was no shedding at all and I could walk on it barefoot without any issues. My cats immediately fell in love too (hence the scattered toys) which is always a bonus. The one thing I will warn you about is that the rug is really soft but slippery, probably from the sleekness of the fabric. But if you're wearing socks when you walk on it, just be careful! I just got it today so I'm assuming after a little wear it won't be an issue but just keep that in mind if you're clumsy like me. Overall I love this rug so much and I think I'm going to be getting another one for my living room and possibly my office because it is SO soft and chic and I could spend hours just laying on it. I also did run over it with a vacuum and I didn't experience any issues. I know other people have mentioned pet hair sticking to it and since I have two black cats, I don't know if that'll be as much of a visible issue for me, but I don't think there's any issue that a vacuum and maybe a quick shake couldn't fix.
