  • YOU LIVE FOR THE GREEN LIGHT: The light changes and the asymmetric tread compound grips immediately. Full contact patch from the first rotation. Power goes down, the tires hook, and the AZ850 earns its spot on the car.
  • STEERING THAT STAYS WHERE YOU PUT IT: You enjoy spirited driving and the steering follows. The continuous center rib keeps inputs precise at speed. The tire tracks straight on highway pulls and responds instantly through transitions. Planted, predictable, connected.
  • CORNERING FEELS PLANTED AND CONTROLLED: You demand responsive handling when the throttle opens. Large outside shoulder blocks absorb lateral forces and hold the line through corners. The asymmetric tread geometry distributes pressure evenly so the tire stays composed under load.
  • FLUSHES WATER. STAYS COMPOSED IN WET: You get caught in rain and the tire keeps working. Four main channels evacuate water from the contact patch at speed. Wet grip stays confident through the range where it matters. UTQG rated 320 A A for traction and temperature.

Description

How does the AZ850 compare to stock tires? Compared to stock OE touring tires, the AZ850 delivers stronger launch grip, quicker steering, and better wet traction. Its asymmetric tread maximizes the contact patch, offering premium UHP performance at a lower cost. How does it handle in rain? Four main channels quickly evacuate water while the compound maintains wet grip. As a summer tire built for warm weather, it handles rain well, but look to the AZ810 UHP all-season for year-round, varied weather driving. What is the difference between AZ850 and AZ850DR? The AZ850 is a street UHP tire for daily spirited driving and wet grip. The AZ850DR is a DOT drag radial with an extra-sticky compound built for rear-axle track launches. The ideal setup is AZ850 on the front and AZ850DR on the rear.

So far, so good
Size: 315/35R20 110Y XL
Got these as a budget tire to test fit and function of this size on the rear my 5th gen Camaro SS. I put them on a 20x10.5 wheel, and the sidewall does bulge a bit. Probably a non-issue of you're loooking for straight line performance, but might swim around a bit in corners, we'll see as I get more miles on them. Would probably be better on an 11"+ wheel. Just got them Wed 11/23 (ordered Sunday night), and they are date coded 2623 (July of 2023), so not old stock that's been laying around a warehouse for a few years. Rubber is supple and fresh, pretty soft which is a given for the 320 treadwear rating. My car is pretty much stock and I can spin them thru first gear, but they do want to hook more than the 275/40 Toyo's (500tw) I replaced with them. I imagine they'll be ok in the rain with the wide channels but I think they went a bit overboard with them myself. I feel they could have backed off a bit, given us a little more rubber meeting the road, and still built a good tire for wetter weather. Both of the tires I got balanced with <1oz of weight, which is pretty impressive for a cheap tire. I'll get several heat cycles on them before pushing them too fast, but with a "Y" speed rating I expect them to perform to my needs. I will update this review as time passes. I've seen good and bad about these tires. Hopefully my experience will be good . Time will tell on how long they last, but if you're buying a 315 wide tire with a 320 treadwear rating, you shouldn't be expecting to get 50k miles out of them anyway. Update 3/4/24: Still have these on the back of the car, and bought a set of 285/35/20's for the front. Put those on 9" wide wheels. The 285's look more like they belong on the 9" wheel than the 315's do on a 10.5" wheel. The 285's also have a very prominent wheel protection lip on them, the 315's have one too, just not nearly as significant. Still haven't had any real warm weather yet, best I've run them around in is about 78 degrees. On asphalt the rears still want to spin fairly easily, on concrete they do much better (but most tires do). Went from 245 wide 500tw up front to these 285 320tw, so of course they have better grip. I think I'm going to leave this setup on the car for the first track day I have coming up in April and see how they do when leaned on pretty heavily. If they do OK, I'm going to get a pair of 305/35/20's swapped onto the rear. I think they'll compliment my 10.5" wide wheels better. Overall, they rode decent enough before I started suspension upgrades for the track which of course make the ride more rigid but I'm trying to bring the car more neutral as the understeer built into these cars is pretty horrendous. I will eventually run these on the street only, and get a set of dedicated track wheels/tires for playtime. Just trying to get some balance worked out before I start chewing up expensive 200tw tires. Again, will update as I learn more. Not disappointed in these tires at all for their price point. Given the latter, I doubt I'll be doing any top speed runs with these tires even though they're Y speed rated. Just not going to trust my life and my car to a $500 set of tires. But these have been in excess of 100mph a few times so far and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. ... show more

Love these tires great price and worked out well for me
Size: 235/40R20 96Y XL
I had seen some reviews warning "don't get these, one blew up on me in the first 100 miles," and so I was a bit worried that it might not end well but couldn't resist the low price. My car is a 2024 Dodge Hornet, and the stock tires are 235/40R20 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s. I bought the car used in 2025 so they were probably only a year old, but they were a nightmare in the snow with this car, and I had to order Pirelli winter tires using Ebay direct from Italy, only way to do it for me because I live in the sticks in VT, and so it was the only way I could get them. Very expensive. When the dealer changed out the tires it turned out that the 2 year old Michelins had enough wear so I would only be able to use 2 of them for another season. I didn't want to buy more of them because they're just terrible [at least they are on the Hornet in Winter], and almost $300 a tire. So when I saw the Atturos at more like $100 a tire I was tempted. I decided to go for it and at that price, I figured get 5 of them and if one blows up I'll have a spare. After several hundred miles, and driving most of them like a complete madman, I've had no problems and I think they are great. The roads where I live are horrid, with potholes and rough areas everywhere, but I've had no problems. They do deform a bit when parked at under 50 degrees F, and it takes several minutes of driving for them to warm up. You'll feel a little vibration from this deformation until they warm up. Don't even think about running these on a Dodge Horner RT in Winter, not just for that reason, but because of the regenerative braking issue [see more about this below]. Even if they wear super fast and I had to buy them every year they'd still be cheaper than the Michelins or any other alternative that is available, for which there are not many to choose from, for 235/40R20 tires on a Hornet. All the other alternatives in this size for this car are around $300 a tire or more. I'm really happy with these and will buy them again, even if they wear out after only a year. If you are a Dodge Hornet RT owner, Pirelli Winter tires solve the problem of loss of traction in Winter almost completely. The issue is due to the hybrid regenerative braking, in which one wheel in the rear brakes any time you have your foot off of the gas or the brake. And sometimes, even when you do. This sends the car into a tailspin in less than a second in slush or on ice if your foot is not firmly on the gas or brake. This beast is a real adventure to drive with Summer tires in Winter with that feature, which can't be disabled, to say the least. These Atturos will not fare any better in Winter because they are Summer performance tires, so the Pirellis are the way to go for that season if you live anywhere that regularly gets snow and ice. If you can't find them in your area, and don't have a local Pirelli dealer anywhere near [like me], just get them through Ebay from Italy. The ones I got were Scorpion Winter 2s. They are great. When you see the $150 import fee, don't panic, it looks like it's on each tire but they only charge it once for the whole set if you order 4. But for Summer, once your stock tires go bald, these Atturos are excellent, and the price is outstanding. Will definitely buy again. And again, if you have a Dodge Hornet RT, and live where there is Winter, you absolutely must get dedicated, really good Winter tires like the Pirellis, or I guarantee you it won't end well. ... show more

Im very happy with the product. Resonable price, very comfortable. Sticks to the ground and glide as soft as feather. Trying to figure out the range for my Tesla Model X if its adds or reduce due to unknown rolling resistance. But so far i Love the looks too.

Great Budget Summer Tire
Size: 245/40R20 99Y XL
Mounted a set of four on my 2006 Infiniti M45, they are very good quality and handle very well. They do not make too much noise and when its time to get down my M45 never struggles for traction. Tires also handle surprisingly well in the wet.

Soft sidewall
Size: 275/35R20 102Y XL
I love these tires I rlly do. I ran them on my fbo mustang gt. And I recently needed tires for my 6th gen ss. Night and day feel. Camaro exposed the super soft sidewall these tires have. I went from run flats to these and in hard cornering or turning. I can feel the back of the car isn’t as planted. I have plenty grip. I’m just missing some confidence inspiring weight transitioning stiffness. That’s the only draw back. I drive hard and I’m going to miss that. probably could benefit from going with a smaller height but I already have a 35 ... show more
