I purchased the larger tote so I could put 2 sets of snowshoes in it. As you can see, the fit is ideal and I was able to put one set of poles in it and it zipped up with room to spare. There is a nice zippered pouch and mesh pocket for gloves or smaller items. Note that my set of snowshoes are running fitness types so aren't as wide or long as traditional snowshoes. ... show more

Excellent bag that appears well made. I expect it will last a long time and protect my expensive 30 inch MSR snowshoes. East to carry and is great way to store snowshoes in vehicle. Pole attachment straps must have been lengthened by Atlas after many reviews noting they were far to short. Pole attachment straps now are perfect length and very easy to use. Outstanding snowshoe bag, one of my best overall buys for snow gear In one fully zipped up bag, you can fit the following -2 separate pairs of snowshoes (Crescent Moon Silver 9) -2 separate pairs of gaiters - 2 separate pairs of trekking poles (carbon fiber collapsible poles, i didn't include this in my pic but it does fit) It has shoulder straps and two sturdy hand handles, and outside strap to hang things on the side. I’ve wanted this snowshoe bag for quite a while now. I’m very disappointed with the durability of this bag. Overall the bag seems well designed. The zippers seem heavy duty and are easy to use with gloves. The bag had plenty of room for my 30” snowshoes and the straps for the poles held them tightly. Unfortunately, after only being used twice, one shoulder strap anchor tore loose from the surrounding fabric and the other strap anchor was just starting to tear loose. I only carried it on my shoulder for about 2 miles between the two trips. I also used then side handle which seems pretty solid. The bag is being returned for a refund. ... show more

I looked at a bunch of options and this one was the lightest weight with all of the function. Many handles, backpack straps are awesome and there is still a bit of room in the bag (I got the right size for my snowshoes) to put some of me related gear which is great!

My primary motivation for purchasing this bag for my 30 inch snowshoes was to be able to transport them easily in the back of my SUV, which tends to be fully packed when I go on an adventure. Loose snowshoes end up getting tangled in other gear, rattling, squeaking against glass, even risk scratching the heating elements in the tailgate glass. This bag appears to be very robust and well designed, with one exception: the velcro fasteners on the side are barely adequate for securing trekking poles. To be fair, I have not yet strapped the bag onto my back and hiked into the wilderness with the poles attached. But I'm fairly mechanically inclined and experienced enough to have a basis for my suspicion. As my photos attest, the large baskets for snow separate the poles too far for the velcro straps to get 100% purchase. This obstacle might be overcome by extending the pole so that the baskets would clear the bag, but that work around might present a hazard or an annoyance, at least. But for simply transporting your snowshoes comfortably and safely this bag ticks all the boxes. ... show more
