  • comfortable, protective, and affordable option
Size: 8 Women/7 Men Color: Blue Bar Pinned Black
These ATHMILE aqua shoes have a nice lightweight construction, are versatile, and a good value for money. I'm using these for water-related activities (kayaking, running in the pool at the gym, playing sports on the beach, and water parks. They are comfort and offer good protection against sharp objects while maintaining a lightweight and flexible design. Comfort & Fit: My shoes fit well, with the flexible upper material providing a snug yet comfortable fit. I ordered a woman's 8 (my normal size) and they fit well. The shoes are similar to wearing "no-show" socks with a protective sole, offering adequate cushioning for short distances but may not be suitable for extended walking. Construction: The shoes are well-constructed, with attention to detail in the reinforced toe ends and grippy soles. Be warned that in tiled pools you still will slip around. Despite their lightweight nature, the construction is deemed durable and capable of withstanding normal wear and tear. Drainage holes in the soles allow water to escape quickly, preventing discomfort from walking in wet conditions. Wet Performance: The shoes perform in wet conditions, with minimal discomfort from wet fabric rubbing against the skin. While the soles may lack significant traction on flat, wet surfaces, they are effective for most water-related activities. They are quick-drying and provide a secure fit even when wet. Overall, these aqua shoes offer a comfortable, protective, and affordable option for individuals engaging in water activities or seeking lightweight footwear for outdoor adventures ... show more

  • Did the job!
Size: 8.5 Women/7.5 Men Color: 1-light Grey
Great water shoes for the lake or paddle boarding. I did go hiking in these since I was at Havasupai and we were going through water crossings. I wore these from Mooney Falls to Beaver Creek which had a bunch of ladders, rocks, and dirt. The shoes held up well, but don’t have a ton of support on the bottoms and they got slippery in the mud. I would say they’re light support. They were pretty comfortable overall, perfect for a light day/lake shoe ... show more

  • Great for their intended purpose
Size: 11 Women/10 Men Color: 2-black and White Radio Wave
These aqua shoes are great, light-duty footwear, perfect for getting you a short distance to/from the water and, at $14.99, they seem to also be a good value. The shoe is very light and the sole is good enough for short distances, but if you're expecting to walk long distances, a more rugged option might be better. * Comfort & Fit: The size 10 I ordered fit my feet well. The flexible, spandex-like upper material made it easy to slide my feet in and then held them in place. These shoes are like wearing a pair of "no-show" socks with a sole on the bottom. The sole provides protection from rough terrain. There's an inner compliant liner that provides a small amount of cushioning, but I wouldn't plan to walk too far in them if you're not used to walking barefoot. * Construction: These shoes are lightweight, but it appears that they are well constructed and should hold up to normal wear and tear. The attach point between the fabric upper portion and the sole appears to be a continuous seam (probably glued, or maybe the sole is melted into the fabric). I don't think the fabric will tear away from the sole under normal use conditions for a long time. The fabric is a tightly-woven, stretchy material that hugs your feet well, but is probably susceptible to tearing. I suspect that eventually, the toe nail on my big toe will wear a hole in the fabric, but at only $14.99, I can buy another set when that eventually happens. * Wet performance: These shoes feel about the same wet or dry - very comfortable. I don't anticipate any uncomfortable rubbing of wet fabric onto my skin. The soles don't have a lot of treads though, so on a very flat, wet surface (i.e. wet tile by a pool), they may not offer much traction. The drain holes in the sole and the upper fabric allow the water to escape quickly so you're not walking around in your own personal puddle. When I took my shoes off and flipped them over, only a short, quick stream of water came out - maybe 2 or 3cc's at most. ... show more

  • Well made, comfortable
Size: 11 Women/10 Men Color: Coal Black
These water shoes are made very well, look nice, and are comfortable to wear. WELL MADE - The fabric upper is attached to the sole and feels very strong and sturdy. - The edging around the top of the shoe is comfortable on your feet - there is no scratching or irritation with this fabric. - The soles are quite thick and are comfortable to walk on - even with rocks at the bottom of the lake. - Hopefully the fabric will last a long time and won't rip out - especially at the toes. - The soles make the shoes work well when paddleboarding and for wading in the lake. EASY TO WEAR - The fabric is comfortable and makes the shoes easy to put on - even when your feet are wet. - The shoes fit fairly snug, which is especially nice when they are wet. - I like the tabs on the top of the shoes - they really help pull the shoes on. - The soles are more flexible and more lightweight than other water shoes we've had - I like that. EASY TO CLEAN - We're using these water shoes at our lake cabin for anyone who needs them. They are easy to clean by rinsing and they dry fairly quick. AFFORDABLE - The price of the water shoes is affordable for this quality. I do recommend them. ... show more

  • So much better than barefoot in the sand!
Size: 7 Women/6 Men Color: Black With Dark Grey
I got these for my 17 year old son. He is developmentally disabled, and has a hard time walking on the hot sand when we go to the beach. I got him these water shoes to make it easier for his feet. He also swims at school, so these shoes will be great for walking from the changing room to the pool. They are a good fit, he wears a men's 7, but I got these in a 6 based on how others reviewed the item for size. It was a good choice. The shoes have a rubber sole, nice and flexible. The mesh upper is well made, and should withstand water and sand well. He will not be wearing these water shoes for any sports, though they seem to be constructed well with reinforced stitching at the toes and drainage holes for water. This is a great price for a water shoe! I will update my review if needed. Overall, I highly recommend! ... show more
