This bag will do the trick for getting my skates to the rink & back. I was a little weary as the dimensions of this bag said 16". My Woman's size 10 Rollerblade Zetrablade with the stopper on it is just under 16". I am able to fit both skates on each side. Then knee & elbow pads and wrist-guards in the middle compartment. The outer material seems to be pretty durable, the inner lining is not as thick, but it should hold up for a while. The outer pocket is not very deep, but large enough to hold my big phone, wallet, keys and some small tools. The outside water bottle holder is a definite plus. ... show more

Bags are great but 2 of the zippers broke within the for month of using one of the two purchased, they were only zipped by adults so it was not the kids fault. A little disappointed about that but we did buy two (one for each kid) and only one had an issue so it could be an exception.

    • Great bag for ice skates or roller skates.

My daughter is taking ice skating lessons and also goes to a lot of roller skating birthday parties. I decided it was time to invest in a proper bag to haul that stuff around. The bag is pretty big when it is full. My petite 8 year old can carry it, but it is bulky. The strap is adjustable, so we can easily adjust it if I am carrying it or she is. You put one skate on each side of the bag so they don't rub and scuff each other. Then there is a middle compartment to put clothing or whatever extras you may need. (pads, helmet, etc). The only draw back is that when the skates are in the bag, the middle compartment becomes compressed, so you really need to push against the sides to expand it open a bit. The only other things I do not like about this bag is that the water bottle holder is quite small and narrow. So if you have your own bottles, they may or may not fit. Also, the front compartment for holding keys, cash, etc is nice to have, but I wish it was a bit deeper and wider. You have to be careful when unzipping it that items don't fall out as there isn't really a true "pocket". It is more of an overlay of fabric with a zipper attaching it to the bag. Overall, I am still happy with the purchase and the price. It seems to be well made and I hope we can get many years out of it. I would recommend it for moderate to recreational use. ... show more

Very happy with these bags. I bought a purple one for my daughter and a black one for me to match our Riedell Dart quad roller skates. The bag is pretty big and would be hard for a small child to carry but the size is necessary to fit the necessary items. The bag is big enough for the skates and in the middle compartment knee pads etc and maybe a tool but definitely not a helmet. That you can clip to the outside of the bag. The material is high quality and sturdy and the shape is nice. Worn like a messenger bag or shoulder bag. Very happy with the purchase so far and price So much easier than trying to carry the heavy skates by hand ... show more

This is my second purchase of this bag (in different colors) for my friend group. We all recently started skating for fitness and fun, and I was the first to get this bag for my roller skates. When I decided I wanted a backpack style instead, I forwarded mine (still brand new) to my brother in law, then bought a new one for my sister in law. So far, it has perfectly fit my size 7 roller skates, his size 12 roller blades, and her size 11 roller skates, PLUS protective pads and more!
