I ordered the boots for my daughter. It’s been raining a lot this year. Upon opening the box, I was impressed by the shiny, well-made boots. My daughter wears shoe size seven, and boots size 7 fits her perfectly. She normally wears low-cut or no-show socks, but she had to wear thicker socks so that boots do not touch her legs. The shoe has a high platform, and she definitely looks taller when she is wearing the boots. She is 5’3,” and when she is wearing the boots, she looks more slender and 5’5.5” tall. The boots are waterproof, so it’s great for rainy seasons. The bottom is made out of rubber, so it’s not slippery and has great traction. The boots are rainboots but very stylish. My daughter wears the boots even though it’s not raining. She likes the design of the boots. The boots are retrofitting style. The boots are easily put on and taken off with ease. I thought these were super cute and trendy. They seem like they would be waterproof to a point. Both sides have elastic that comes far down to the ankle bone. This makes it easy to get these boots on, but if you are walking in puddles or heavy, splashing rain. The soles were a nice lug style with a chunky heel. There was plenty of cushioning for everyday but these are not going to be your walk through the countryside boots. I got the shiny black style and there was no visible creasing at the end of the day. The inside had a fabric feel which helped feet slip in. They were comfortable, and the material has some stretch to it which helps those with a little wider feet. I feel like these are true to size and standard width. If you are between sizes I would probably size down. If you have wide feet like me sizing up a half size will work because there is a lot of give in the material. ... show more

Paired these with a dress (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQC4KGLQ?th=1&psc=1) and felt so cool! I honestly can't think of any other way to describe these boots. They're, much like me, chunky and funky! They are so lightweight that you'd never know it, though. I ordered a 6 which is my normal size and found them to fit true to size. If I had to make any complaint, it would be that they do softly squeeze around my ankle area but I have unusually thick ankles and still found these pretty comfy. These boots are without a doubt my new favorite boots! They are stylish and sleek looking, plus they can match almost anything. They look great with your pants tucked in or with your pants covering them, and they look so good with dresses and skirts too! I love that the sole and the heel are rubber, so no skidding! The heel is a nice chunky block heel, that gives me some extra height, which I always appreciate! These boots are really cute! They look good with leggings and dresses. I ordered a half size up as I’m usually a 9.5 in most shoes I get from Amazon, however these feel really true to size so I probably could have gotten away with size 9. They still work with thick socks though.

These boots showed up fast and packaged very carefully. The fit was perfect and my wife really likes the looks of them. She hasn't worn them all day yet but her first impression is that they will be comfortable. She has muscular calves and these still fit nicely.
