My 15 year old son only wears these pants. one of the few brands that I can find 30x34 he could go a bit smaller in the waist but over all this is all he wears. He does wear out the knees in time even thought they are reinforced. He likes the extra pockets. My husband now starting wearing them in 32x32 and now only wears these for work pants. We have bought Carhartt and Duluth many times before these seem to hold up longer than both other pants. He does say the Duluth Firehose pants are more comfortable but he was going through them at a faster rate and they are more than double the price. Basically both the men in this household pretty much only wear these pants. In addition from a girls perspective I think they look nice on the guys how they sit and makes the butt look cute. ... show more

I bought these for my son. He is 6'4" and weighs 160lbs. I purchased the 30x34, they fit him great! He absolutely loves them! They are now his favorite pair of pants. He normally wears jeans, but he is super hard on them, and they don't last very long. He says these are very comfortable and move well with him. I really want to like these pants, they seem sturdy and a good work pant, but they run long. I have a 32" inseam and all other pants I get 32". These come past my heals a good bit. I may try a 30" inseam to see if they're any better.

My husband wears these for work as a welder, and they hold up surprisingly well. If you are doing anything less than showering these pants in flaming bits of molten metal for 10 hours a day, these should have excellent durability. Equally important is that they are very comfortable. Some of the nice features include the double knee, reinforced back hem, and crotch gusset. The only thing some might find negative is that the color "sea turtle" is green not the brown color that it appears on screen. But turtles are green so... whatever just buy the pants, ok. ... show more

These are extremely tight in the crotch area. The front part of the waist is too tight, and the back part of the waist is too big so if you sit/squat down the button digs into your stomach and the back hangs open enough for someone to stick their whole hand into your pants. The thickness is great for working in cooler weather and the fabric feels very sturdy. If these had deeper front pockets and a sixth pocket on the side of the leg they might be worth keeping despite the bad fit. ... show more
